A new "Save The Date" will be mailed and Invitations will follow. We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused. Please feel free to call or text Crissy at 910-547-2794 with any questions. Thank you, Crissy & Jorge
It all started around August of 2016 Crissy and Jorge both worked at Procter & Gamble but had never crossed paths. Alex, a mutual friend of Crissy and Jorge’s kept asking Crissy to meet his friend Jorge. Jorge was going through some rough times and Crissy had just moved to Mason, a suburb north of Cincinnati. He thought it would be nice for the two to get together. Alex had also been talking to Jorge about Crissy. Jorge agreed to meet, but Crissy was adamant that she did not want to be involved and was focused on herself and getting to know her three new roommates Evelyn, Liza, and Ula
October 14th, 2016 came, and Alex asked Crissy if she could take him to the airport as he was leaving for Panama and would be gone for several weeks. On the drive to the airport Alex mentioned again his friend Jorge. Rolling her eyes, she finally agreed that Alex could give Jorge her number. She gave directions that Jorge and she could meet up but it was very clear it would be only as friends. This is not a date! She dropped Alex off and said goodbye and back to Mason she drove to finish out the last few hours of the work week. Crissy arrived home and as soon as she logged into her computer, she instantly received an instant message from Jorge. The message read, "Are you Alex's friend?" She replied, "No." "Just joking, hello." Right off the bat Jorge received a taste of Crissy’s quick wit! They decided they meet up for drinks and dinner the following evening.
It was six o’clock, October 15th, 2016, Jorge arrived on time. Jorge met all the women of the household and they made plans that maybe Evelyn and Liza would join them later that evening. Evelyn, Liza, and Ula sent them off and Crissy and Jorge were on their way to dinner. Dinner was nice and the conversation seemed to flow naturally. They even realized they live 30 seconds from each other. At the end of dinner, they were both itching for some live music. Crissy called her roommates and they drove back to Crissy’s to pick them up. Everyone piled into Jorge’s car and headed off to Jag’s for some live music. The night just kept getting better a better. Everyone was laughing and talking and ready to dance. After arriving at Jag's we were seated and everyone grabbed a drink of choice. Liza was quick to head to the dance floor with a friend. Jorge then looked over to Crissy and rested his elbow on the table. As he held his chin in his hand he said with conviction, “I reeeaaaally like you!” At that moment Evelyn got up and said, “Umm... I’ll let you two be alone.” Crissy, wanted to say, “No. No. No. Don’t leave me.” Crissy looked back at Jorge, smiled and said let’s go dance the "Cha Cha" with everyone! Later that evening as Jorge was driving all the ladies home, he reached over to hold Crissy’s hand. (Obviously, Evelyn and Liza noticed, and teased Crissy about the hand hold the next day.) They all arrived back safely. Evelyn and Liza went inside, and Crissy stayed to thank and say good night to Jorge. The night was then sealed with a kiss.
Over the next few weeks Jorge and Crissy were inseparable. Crissy helped Jorge with setting up his new home and even taught him Cooking 101. It was important to Crissy that when she was not around, Jorge and his two sons Jorge Jr. and Nico were eating nutrious meals. Her motherly instinct immediately kicked in to gear. The feelings for each other began to grow and Jorge asked her if she would accompany him to Playa Del Carmen for Thanksgiving. She took some time to think about it. She called her Father; and it was decided by the flip of a coin that Crissy would fly to Mexico with Jorge. The vacation started off great, she met one of Jorge’s close friends, Pepe. She tried to speak Spanish but that didn’t work out too well, but she tried. Pepe and Jorge immersed Crissy in the Mexican culture. She tasted new foods, crawled in caves, and swam in cenotes. There were some crazy moments of anxiety and scares, but they make for great stories now! The night life was filled with music and dancing, and Jorge and Crissy began to bond. They forgot about work and enjoyed every moment together. As they looked out over the blue water between the break of the waves, they realized they shared much in common. They loved sharing the adventure and experiencing the offerings of life together and that this was the beginning of a long relationship to come.
