Maya and Becky have known each other a looooooooooooong time. They first became acquainted when, at the age of four, Becky pushed Maya off of the balance beam in their gymnastics class due to a misunderstanding (Becky was trying to get Maya's attention because the rest of class was leaving that area, and Maya didn't notice. The misunderstanding was mostly that Becky didn't understand the difference between a tap and a hearty shove). In second grade, they were re-acquainted, and became friends. They stayed friends, and 20 years later they were featured in each other's weddings.
