We are getting married!!!

It all started way back in 7th grade band...yes, the good old days of awkward middle school years and squeaky instruments. We were both on a class band trip to Universal Studios, having the time of our lives, and on the way back home, we happened to sit near each other on the charter bus. Surrounded by friends and the buzz of a long day of fun, something clicked and that’s when our friendship began. Fast forward to 8th grade, not only were we in band again (shoutout to the one and only Mr. McNeil, an absolute legend), but we also shared a few other classes. By the time freshman year rolled around, we had 3 or 4 classes together, and our friendship continued to grow. Then came summer of freshman year going into sophomore and with it, a surprise reunion. We randomly ran into each other at Rack Room Shoes (yes, Rack Room) while back-to-school shopping with our moms. Fate works in funny ways, right? From that day, we started talking more and more, and eventually, Max asked me out on a date. It was November 29th, 2014. We were sitting on a swinging bench at the Prins family property when he asked, “Will you be my girlfriend?” I replied with the most casual “sure” in the history of first relationships, but that “sure” turned into something so much more. It’s been 11 years since that day, and we’ve grown together, laughed together, and built a life rooted friendship turned into true love. And now, we’re getting married, still best friends, still us, plus our girls Hazelnut and Peanut.
