A long time ago- 2002 to be exact, Eva and Rachel met during Gateway Middle School theatre. Eva had a solo part in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Rachel got cast as a camel. These two and their friends would goof off and make inside jokes the entire time. This set the tone for the next 20 years of friendship. Even when cities apart, the two have remained best friends and Rachel insists that Eva is one of the funniest people she knows. They have made too many memories to count, and Rachel can't wait for Eva to stand with her on the big day!
Lauren Gochenour
Matron of Honor
Lauren and Rachel also met at Gateway Middle School over 20 years ago. They quickly became friends during Cheerleading season and would continue to hang out through high school. It was later when Lauren also attended THE Ohio State University that the two became even closer. Countless tailgates, football games, high street adventures, and nights at Ugly Tuna led the two to become roommates in 2013. They lived together in Polaridise for almost 2 years and had some of the best times. They are now both happy to live closer together in the 419!
Marji Yenne-Gardner

Marji and Rachel are truly an Average Joes success story (as is Marji's marriage). The two were instantly friends, spending many LATE nights closing the bar and always having the best time. You knew it was going to a rowdy shift if both of them were on the schedule. Both Rachel and Marji are also avid Crew fans- they spent many parking lot tailgates getting #ClassyforCrew. The two have also been to countless shows and a music festival together. Although they live far away, Mary Beth loves Yenne Penny and the memories they continue to make together (IYKYK).
Anushka Patel

Anushka and Rachel became instant friends while working in the NCH Eye Clinic in 2020. One day, Rachel started talking about her obsession with 90s music and asked Anushka if she was into S Club 7. Obviously, like any girl born in the 90s, the answer was a hard yes and the two of them created (arguably) the greatest throwback playlist in Spotify history. Aside from being each other's go-to person for eye drops- the two quickly became friends outside of work and enjoyed finding the best spots for cocktails. If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting Anushka yet, SHE'S NICE!
Melissa Creps

Melissa is Rachel's sister-in-law. The two first met back in 2008 when Justin first brought Melissa home to meet the fam. After Melissa graduated from college and moved to Columbus with Justin- she and Rachel became more like friends. They have attended concerts, Crew games, and even ran a half marathon together. Rachel always wished she had a sister, and Melissa is the best one she could have hoped for!
Luke Armstrong

Luke and Alex met during middle school and have been best friends ever since. Luke is a drummer, so they bonded over music and drumming. The two are always going to a concert any chance they get. Luke has always been like a second brother in the family.
Luke Hunkapiller

Luke is Alex's older brother and only sibling. The two have always been close and have always bonded over music. Luke plays guitar and bass, so they are always jamming together. Luke also has an amazing record collection. Every time you are with Luke you are sure to hear a new song.
Cody Grodi

Cody is Alex's cousin. The two have always loved to go on ski trips together. Cody is a super fun person to be around and is always the life of the party.
Danny Foley

Danny and Alex grew up across the street from each other so they have been friends forever. The Foley house has always been a second family and home. Danny is a super smart and funny guy. If you are with Danny, expect to laugh.
Brock Sautter

Brock and Alex went to high school together and also worked together at Byblos. Brock loves the outdoors and music, so he and Alex were always finding fun things to do together.
