This is where we are getting married! We will be having the ceremony at High Point Overlook but there is so much more to see here! Please feel free to explore while we finish taking pictures before we leave to go to dinner. (note: the address here is NOT the address to get to the ceremony spot. please find the other address on the RSVP tab or your invite)
If you have an extra day, or maybe you want to wake up extra early before our wedding, everyone needs to take the drive up Pikes Peak. The views are out of this world! The gates open at 9am, and it is $10/adult and $5/child. If you do decide to go the morning of our wedding, PLEASE make sure you allot yourself enough time to go up and down. The drive is slow and you'll want to stop and take pics, so this is easily a 3-4 hour trip. So please schedule accordingly and don't be late to the wedding!
The Manitou Cliff Dwellings are comprised of Anasazi ruins that date back to 800-1000 years old. These are really neat to look at and the museum is really educational. Adult tickets are $10 and $7.50 for kiddos under 7.
For those of you that have a little more time to spend in Colorado, the Royal Gorge is a must see! It's a little over an hour's drive from Colorado Springs, but it's worth it. You can walk across the bridge itself and you can even take the suspended Gondola across! $23/adult and $18 for kids 6-12.
