So we met on the most romantic dating website ever created... Tinder. When we initially "matched", we made it VERY clear that we were not looking for a relationship. We had both just got out of long term relationships, so we just wanted to make a new friend to chill with. After a week of texting, it became clear that both of us were pretty awesome so we decided to meet up and hang out. What was supposed to be just a few hours of hanging out and getting to know each other, literally turned into a 10 hour ordeal. We went out for brunch, then hopped onto Anthony's motorcycle and headed to the zoo... then back to Sami's place to watch a movie... then back out to eat... then back to Sami's to watch another movie.. It was pretty clear by the end of the evening that we didn't want it to end. It was also pretty clear that we both accidentally fell for each other pretty hard. Our chemistry was undeniable. It was an incredible beginning to our adventure together.
For Christmas, Sami surprised Anthony with an AMAZING present that included two plane tickets to Chicago for the week of his birthday which also included tickets to a Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals game. Anthony won't admit it but he did shed a few tears of happiness. Cut to 5 months later and we are in Chicago having an already awesome trip, even though the weather wanted to be freezing cold and rainy, but whatever. But the day of the game, the sun decided to bless us with its presence so the day started off great. Anthony was pretty antsy throughout the whole thing and made it clear that we needed to focus on the Jumbotron. Well, following the 4th inning, the screen lit up with happy birthday and anniversary messages. Finally, the last message on the screen read "Sami, Will You Marry Me?". It was like something out of a movie, Anthony got down on one knee, Sami started crying, and people around started cheering. It was a beautiful moment that we will never forget. The only other day that might top that will be the day we finally say "I do".
