What will weather be like in Colorado?
Answer
Colorado is beautiful in the fall! Last year in September - the high was 87 and the low was 52 with an average of 67 degrees. It very rarely rains, and usually doesn't snow until Halloween. Colorado does have a tendency to be very windy tho - so light layers are always a good idea! It is predicted to be a high of 68 and a low of 44 this year. The ceremony is outside while dinner will be in a tent with heaters.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We want our guests to take this as an opportunity to dress up, but we also want everyone to be comfortable and have a great time! We are requesting semi-formal (dressy casual) for our wedding. Don’t feel the need to wear a tie, but please no jeans, t-shirts or flip flops! Once the sun goes down it does tend to get chilly! The tent will have heaters but we suggest bringing a light jacket or layers for the reception!

When should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM, so please arrive early enough to find a seat, settle in and socialize before the ceremony begins.

How do I get to the venue?
Answer
River Bend is located at 501 West Main St, at the western end of Lyons, just beyond the intersection of US 36 and US 7. From Boulder: Take Hwy. 36 to Hwy. 66. Turn left and continue through the town of Lyons to the intersection of US 36 and US 7. Veer right onto US 36 and take the first possible left into River Bend. From Denver: Take 1-25 north to exit 234 for Lyons/Estes Park. Continue for 15 miles through the town of Lyons to the intersection of US 36 and US7. Veer right and take the first possible left into River Bend.

Is Parking available?
Answer
There will be a parking attendant and there is plenty of parking. The parking area is lit at night. If any guest needs to leave a car over night, they must be picked up the following morning by 9:00. We would much rather a guest leave a car over night than drive while impaired. There is no camping at the venue.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one it will appear on your invite. We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest friends and family.
