We’re getting married!

Chellie was in Colorado Springs finishing a travel nurse contract and about a week and a half out from starting her next one in Atlanta, GA when she got on Bumble and made a profile for the umpteenth time. 4 swipes and she quickly turned it off, remembering she's about to leave the city. The next morning she saw her matches and quickly responded and profusely apologized, saying that she was leaving soon and she shouldn't have made the profile, that we don't have to talk, etc - expecting the guys to just say " no worries, have a good one." Except this one... Sean was adamant about wanting to meet up after his shift at the fire station - so we met for lunch at Fuzzy's - the local Tex-mex watering hole for margaritas and chips and queso. After a few hours, it was hard to fight the fact there was something there. So they saw each other the next day. And the next. And then he called off work to hang out... They saw each other almost every day for a week before Chellie left for Atlanta - but Chellie still wasn't sure this was going to work - she was leaving across the country and had only known him for a week after all... But thank goodness Sean is who he is and didn't let her go that easy. They did their first 3 months of dating long distance with Sean flying out to Atlanta to see Chellie when he could. Sean would wake up early to call Chellie as she walked home from night shift, and call on the walk into work (with Atlanta traffic it was quicker for her to walk to work than drive!) They survived close airport calls, sickness, time changes, long distance road trips, and career changes within the first 4 months of dating - after that everything seemed easy!
