No. All wedding events are 21+ only. We kindly ask that guests plan accordingly so everyone can fully enjoy the weekend celebrations. Thank you for understanding!
We’re only able to accommodate guests who are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with the people closest to us!
In general, think cocktail attire with a relaxed, coastal Key West feel. Short dresses or any length are welcome, along with suits or dressy separates. Lightweight fabrics are encouraged for the warm weather and outdoor settings.
Light clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, swimwear, and a light layer for evenings on the water. Most events are outdoors, so plan for warm tropical weather.
Key West is very walkable, and ride-shares, taxis, bikes, and scooters are all widely available. Many guests also enjoy biking or walking between nearby locations.
We recommend staying in Old Town Key West or nearby areas for easy access to events, restaurants, and nightlife. There are plenty of hotels, guesthouses, and vacation rentals within walking or short riding distance. Please see Travel section for more information.
Yes—most of our events take advantage of Key West’s beautiful outdoor settings, including the sunset cruise and Hemingway House reception.
Key West weather can be unpredictable, but events will proceed rain or shine. In the case of severe weather, we will communicate any updates directly with guests as needed.
The Hemingway House is home to a few friendly six-toed cats, and you may spot them roaming the grounds during your visit. Our reception is entirely outdoors, so allergens should be minimal, and most guests with mild allergies do just fine. If you are sensitive, we recommend taking your usual allergy medication just to be comfortable. The cats tend to do their own thing and keep a relaxed distance, so they’ll likely be more of a fun sighting than anything you’ll need to worry about.
Yes—we are eloping before the reception, but we still wanted to celebrate this special time with our closest friends and family. While there won’t be a formal wedding ceremony, we’re excited to gather everyone for a full weekend of celebrations, including a welcome party, cocktail hour, and reception dinner. It’s our way of sharing the joy with the people we love most.
No-we kindly ask that guests do not bring cigars, cigarettes, or firearms into any of the wedding venues. Our goal is to keep all events comfortable, safe, and enjoyable for everyone celebrating with us. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a relaxed and welcoming environment for the weekend. If you need to smoke during the reception, please step outside of the venue premises or designated smoking area to do so. We kindly ask that you be mindful of the setting and dispose of any waste properly before returning to the celebration. Thank you for respecting the space and other guests.
