Registry

In celebration of Allison’s Chinese heritage, we have chosen to honor the tradition of 福 Hongbao for our wedding registry.
Hongbao, often called red envelopes in the United States, is a custom that has been practiced in Chinese culture for centuries. The red envelope, adorned with gold calligraphy, symbolizes good fortune, blessings, and protection from evil spirits such as 祟 (suì), often represented by the dragon during Lunar New Year celebrations.
For guests who wish to participate in this tradition, hongbao will be available at the wedding, and there will also be an option to contribute online. Your presence at our celebration is the greatest gift, and participation in this tradition is entirely optional.
