Things To Do

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT PUERTO RICO! Puerto Rico, dubbed "La Isla del Encanto" or "The Island of Enchantment," is full of great excursions, amazing food, and incredible nightlife and entertainment. Below we've listed a few of our favorites!
Toro Verde Adventure Park

Toro Verde Adventure Park

State Route 155, Orocovis, Orocovis 00720, Puerto Rico

On our first trip to Puerto Rico, we rode on the longest zipline in America and the third longest in the world. For all of you adrenaline junkies, this is a MUST visit spot. Also, keep in mind that this is hidden in the mountains of Puerto Rico so the drive will be difficult!

Carabalí Rainforest Park

Carabalí Rainforest Park

Puerto Rico 992, Luquillo, Luquillo 00773, Puerto Rico

ATV'ing through the rainforest was one of the most exhilarating yet beautiful things we've done together. We also got to hop in the river at a point too. Way too much fun to not recommend!

Casa BACARDÍ

Casa BACARDÍ

Puerto Rico 165, Cataño, Cataño 00949, Puerto Rico

On our second trip to Puerto Rico, our first stop was the Bacardi Factory! Puerto Rico is one of the biggest rum distributors in the world and we could not miss out on the opportunity to learn more about rum production in the Caribbean and sample some incredible rums. We even took home a bottle of their "Special Reserve," which can only be purchased at Casa Bacardi. We plan to open that bottle as our first drink at home as newlyweds!

Viejo San Juan

Viejo San Juan

San Juan, San Juan, Puerto Rico

Old San Juan is a must visit on your trip to Puerto Rico! Dating back to the 16th century this is the second oldest inhabited city in the Western Hemisphere. Filled with shops, street vendors, restaurants, historic sites and nightlife, Old San Juan is bound to impress!

La Factoría

Señor Paleta

Getting hot on a warm day? Happen to be in Old San Juan? Señor Paleta is a MUST visit! With delicious water and milk based flavors, you’re bound to have your sweet tooth satisfied!

Distrito T-Mobile

Distrito T-Mobile

250 Convention Boulevard, San Juan, San Juan 00907, Puerto Rico

This BRAND NEW entertainment district right at the entrance of Old San Juan, considered by many as a mini Las Vegas, is a must visit! Filled with restaurants, a zip line, an arcade, a sports bar, a movie theater and a concert venue, Distrito T-Mobile is a guaranteed fun time!

Laguna Grande

Laguna Grande

Fajardo 00738, Puerto Rico

Go night kayaking and see the glowing microorganisms in the water! Out of five bioluminescent bays in the world, Puerto Rico is home to three of them. It is a magical experience that everyone should do at least once. DO NOT FORGET YOUR BUG SPRAY... you have been warned!

Salty Dog Catamaran

Salty Dog Catamaran

If you like Piña Coladasssss, and snorkeling, and crystal clear waters we HIGHLY suggest this fun excursion to Icacos Island!

Flamenco Beach

Flamenco Beach

Flamenco, Culebra 00775, Puerto Rico

About a 45-minute ferry ride away, Culebra is a municipality island of Puerto Rico that feels more laid back and relaxed than main island. In Culebra, you'll find Flamenco Beach, which is rated as one of the best beaches in the world. With its crystal clear water and its very fine sand, you are sure to leave mesmerized from this iconic spot!

La Cueva del Mar

La Cueva del Mar

Avenida Luis Vigoreaux, San Juan, San Juan 00920, Puerto Rico

This local favorite is a staple restaurant that we go to more than once every time we travel to Puerto Rico. With the most amazing seafood, great Puerto Rican food and with multiple convenient locations, it's an absolute winner!

Pirilo Pizza Rustica

Pirilo Pizza Rustica

La Preñá

La Preñá

Calle Francisco Seín, San Juan, San Juan 00926, Puerto Rico

For a quick bite to eat, and also with multiple locations, La Preña serves the most incredible stuffed arepas! Craig and I ordered WAY too much the last time we came here. It was worth it though!

Terruño

Terruño

Kioskos de Luquillo, Luquillo 00773, Puerto Rico

About 15 minutes away from our wedding venue, Terruño is also a staple of Puerto Rican food. Come here if you want incredible food with a very low-key, casual vibe!

Kasalta

Kasalta

1966 McLeary Avenue, San Juan, San Juan 00911, Puerto Rico

In 2015, President Barack Obama unexpectedly visited this spot and the chair he used is still displayed at this iconic local bakery! If you're looking for great sandwiches, pastries and other local delicacies, visit Kasalta!
