Welcome to Minnesota! If it's your first time, you can expect the people to be friendly and the fall air to feel just right. Whether you want to be active or just relax, we hope you have fun in the state we fell in love in. Seasonal highlights: fall anything! Minnesotans love their fall leaves, apple orchards, and flannel. Local delicacies: apple anything, cheese curds, walleye, tater tots, wild rice. Bonus points if you try a hot dish while in town.

Hiking at Crow Wing State Park

Take a classic MN hike and enjoy views of the Crow Wing and Mississippi river bluffs lined with fall colors! 25 min away Parking: $7 per car

Hiking or Scenic Drive Around Lake Mille Lacs (Father Hennepin State Park)

Wander through the hardwood forests and along the shores of MN's third largest lake at Father Hennepin State Park. Or, take in the scenic drive around Lake Mille Lacs, which is known for its beautiful fall colors. 1 hr 15 min away Parking: $7 per car (if you enter the state park)

All the fall fun you're looking for - hay maze, tractor rides, corn pit, and more! Pick up a pumpkin, gourd, flowers, or some fall home decor. Saturday 9am-5pm Sunday 11am-3pm 5 minutes away $12 Free for 3 yrs and under

Harvest Fun Days @ Stoney Brook Farms

Explore the world's largest corn maze (110 acres), pick a pumpkin, jump in the corn pit, and grab lunch from food trucks! 1 hr 20 min away Open 10am-6pm $10 admission Free for 3 yrs and under

Pick-Your-Own Berries @ Double T Acres

Enjoy the fresh fall air while picking your own strawberries. Fall corn, pumpkins, flowers, and other fall decor are also available! Open 10am-2pm 8 minutes away

Welcome to MN's golf capital! See this link for four popular golf courses in the area. The Pines and The Preserves are the courses on site at the Grand View Lodge.

Biking

Explore the local trail systems! See this link for several paved and unpaved options. The Paul Bunyan trail will take you for a leisurely ride from Grand View to the shops in Nisswa. Bring your own wheels, or rent a bike from the resort.

Mille Lacs Indian Museum and Trading Post

Do what Minnesotans do best and enjoy being on the lake! Kayaks and paddles are free at the Boathouse Office.

Disc and Foot Golf

Low-key golf, frisbee golf, and foot golf (soccer) at Garden Park (7 holes, par 3) right at the resort. No reservations needed. Go to NorthPark (fitness center) for free discs or soccer balls.

Tennis and Pickleball

Rackets, paddles, & balls provided at NorthPark (fitness center).

Spa
