The story started when two West Coast-ers found our way to Minnesota to attend the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. In 2013, Charlene left home in the Bay Area of Northern California to attend the UofM's business school for undergrad. Two years later in 2015, Craig left the PNW to pursue his PhD in Chemistry at the UofM. Finally in 2017, we bumped into each other at the university gym and love began. Craig sparked a conversation with Charlene as we unlocked our bikes outside. When he found out she was also a West Coast transplant, he said, "Ah, we're both salmon swimming upstream. Everyone else is trying to move to Seattle and San Francisco, but we came here." Funny enough, that became a theme in our relationship. Over the years, we've found our own way of doing things and that's made our life together undeniably ours. We've watched each other thrive and walk through change in our individual ways. Along the way, we became a team and learned how to be complementary partners to each other. We've begun building a life of love, curiosity, and adventure. Now, the next adventure is officially tying the knot! Our wish is to spend quality time with those we love in a place we love!
