Stuyvesant Plaza
This is a great walk around shopping area conveniently located right down the street from us and the Hampton! The plaza includes shops like Anthropologie, Pottery Barn and Sur La Table. It also has some amazing restaurants we love like Simone's Kitchen if you're craving Mediterranean, or Peaches Cafe for a nice breakfast or lunch.
Crossgates Mall
"Let's go to the mall!" Located 5 minutes down the road from us. Crossgates also has an IMAX theater!
Empire State Plaza
The Empire State Plaza nestled in downtown Albany is a great place to walk around during the day. The reflecting pool is surrounded by the capitol building, brutalist The Egg theatre, and Empire State Museum. Cool spot to check out if you're coming in from out of town. It's about a 15-minute drive from our house.
Cafe Madison
Madison Cafe: our first date! Open early for breakfast and brunch. Super yummy food and drinks. Only about two and a half miles down the road from our house and the Hampton.
City Line Bar and Grill
City Line is a bar and grill we've frequented, right across the street from SUNY Albany's southern entrance. The building is a landmark demarcating the city line between Albany proper and the town of Guilderland. Only a half mile down the road from our house and the Hampton.
