Question

COVID Testing & Travel Update

Answer

We have guests traveling to Cape Cod from a few different states. Massachusetts requires many out of state guests (specifically New Jersey, as of this week) to obtain a negative COVID test result within 72 hours of entering the state, prior to staying overnight. Due to this recently updated mandate, and the fact that we don’t want any of our guests to feel singled out, we’re asking everyone to consider taking a COVID test within three days of arriving on Cape Cod. We understand and appreciate the hassle this creates for each of you, but hopefully it also provides a level of assurance for everyone, since this will likely be the largest gathering many of us have been to since March. By asking our guests to consider getting tested, practice social distancing outside, and to wear a mask when not eating or drinking, we can provide some peace of mind that no one’s health is being compromised. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!!

Question

You're getting married during a pandemic - what do we do?!

Answer

We are thrilled to still be able to get married this year, despite all of the challenges taking place in the world around us. We truly appreciate all of the lengths everyone is going through to travel to the Cape for this event! In the midst of this pandemic, everyone’s health and safety are of our utmost concern, which is why we are inviting a limited number of guests and are hosting the entire wedding outside. We will have reserved, socially distanced seating throughout the event and ask that everyone please wear a mask, except when eating or drinking. Unfortunately, we won't be able to enjoy dancing and mingling as freely as usual, and we ask that you please respect the safety measures in place. If you or someone you're in close contact with is unwell in the two weeks before the wedding, please let us know. We will share more specific guidance and recommendations as we get closer to the date, while we closely monitor the Massachusetts laws and travel restrictions. Thank you!!

Question

What's the Rain Plan?

Answer

We're hoping for a beautiful and warm October day, but we will have tents and heaters in case of rain, wind, or cold. The weather on Cape Cod tends to be unpredictable, so please plan accordingly!

Question

Will Transportation be Provided?

Answer

Due to the small group and the fact that everything is very close, we're not providing any formal transportation, but we will make sure there are some cabs standing by at the end of the night to get everyone home safely! We recommend Cape Cabs: (508) 240-1500 or Lyft.

Question

Where Should I Park?

Answer

The afternoon of the wedding, please park at Rockland Trust Bank (70 Main Street). It's a short 3 minute walk to the Lloyd's home.

For all the days along the way
