Flight
The easiest way to reach Crete is by flying into Athens (ATH) and connecting to either Chania (CHQ) or Heraklion (HER), one of the island's two main airports. • Chania Airport (CHQ): about 1 hour drive to Rethymno region • Heraklion Airport (HER): about 1 hour and 20 minute drive to Rethymno region Once you land, you can reach your accommodations by taxi, private transfer, or rental car. We highly recommend renting a car. It's the most convenient way to explore Crete's beaches, villages, and scenic countryside at your own pace. If you prefer not to drive, local transfer services and taxis can be arranged in advanced (see below).

We've reserved beautiful Nevelo Quality Villas to accommodate our immediate family for the duration of our stay in Crete from August 11th - 16th. These villas offer the perfect blend of comfort and charm, with shared spaces to gather and plenty of room to unwind after days in the sun. • Check-in: Tuesday, August 11th, at 4:00 PM • Check-out: Sunday, August 16th, at 11:00 AM Room assignments will be shared closer to the trip. We hope you'll join us for the full week to relax, explore, and celebrate together, but you're welcome to come and go as your schedule allows.
