ChinChin Restaurant

ChinChin Restaurant

125 Flinders Lane, Melbourne, 3000, Australia

This is our favorite restaurant in the world! It's Asian fusion and so so delicious. Unfortunately they don't take bookings (only for tables of 6 or more) but it is definitely worth the wait. You can put your name down have a drink at a bar close by and they will text you when your table is ready. If you go at lunch time it is a little quieter or earlier in the evening. They have a "feed me" option where they will bring food at you until you stay stop-- this is the best way to try all their most popular dishes.

Mr Miyagi

Mr Miyagi

99 Chapel Street, South Yarra, 3181, Australia

No reservations for groups smaller then 6 but plenty of places to drink close by. We recommend the salmon taco and Mr Miyagi's fried chicken. They also do a fab frose!

Tall Timber Cafe

Tall Timber Cafe

60 Commercial Road, South Yarra, 3181, Australia

We recommend the ham hock eggs benedict and the smashed avocado with Dukkah

DeJour Jeans

DeJour Jeans

542 Sydney Road, Brunswick, 3056, Australia

Hate buying jeans? Dejour jeans is the place for you! All their jeans are only $50-$60 and they will tailor them while you wait! We cant tell you how much we love this place! We recommend going in the mornings as it can get busy and sometimes you have to come back the next day to get them. Try going at 9:30am when they open and then pop down to Wide Open road for breakfast while you wait for them to be altered.

Albert Park Lake

Albert Park Lake

Albert Park Lake, Albert Park Lake, 3206, Australia

Beautiful walk you can do around Albert Park Lake that will give you fantastic views of the city skyline.

Places to Stay

Places to Stay

Melbourne, VIC, Australia

The wedding venue is in South Yarra, but there are several neighborhoods in Melbourne that would be appropriate for your stay. South Yarra – This is Emily’s old neighborhood and our favourite in the city. The main street in the neighborhood is Chapel Street with great shops, bars and restaurants. South Yarra is only two stops to the downtown. Melbourne/CBD – This is the downtown area. It’s very busy, but lots of restaurants and easy to get around. St Kilda Road – If you don’t want me to be right in the city, but very close to the venue. It also has frequent trams that will take you into the city or down to St Kilda. St Kilda – This is where the beaches are! However, like most beaches, the area attracts some riff raff. Port / South Melbourne -- both beautiful areas but don't have great public transport options. Richmond -- large suburb with lots of bars and restaurants. Home of the Richmond Tigers! If you have any questions, just ask us!
