How do I RSVP? Do I need to mail my RSVP or can I do it online?
Answer
Our invited guests can choose to RSVP online or by mail: Online: Click RSVP here on our wedding website and follow the prompts. Mail: Send your RSVP card using the stamped, addressed envelope found in the invitation that was mailed to you. If responding by mail, please be sure to provide the full name of each guest in your party. Our venue requires the first and last name of every guest. How do I know who is included in my invite and how can I confirm?
Answer
The number of seats we have reserved in your honor is indicated on the RSVP card included in your invitation. We have done our best to anticipate the number of individuals, couples, and families that we expect to join us. Please feel free to email us at johnsongarridowedding@yahoo.com with any questions or concerns about guests who are included in your invitation.

How do I get to the wedding venue and where do I park?
Answer
Please enter the venue name (Kurtz’s Beach) or the venue address (2070 Kurtz Ave., Pasadena, MD) in your navigation system of choice for turn-by-turn directions. Once you arrive at Kurtz’s Beach, follow the signage that directs you to their free on-site parking.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Answer
Yes. Flat landscapes and ramps are available to ensure accessibility for our guests who require a wheelchair.

What is the dress code for your wedding?
Answer
Come in your best semi-formal attire. Formal attire is optional. What’s most important to us is that you feel comfortable while looking your best, so we can all enjoy looking back at the moments we hope to capture with you. Weather permitted, our wedding ceremony will be held outdoors in the warm August weather, so take that in consideration as you plan how you’ll dress for the day.

Are there any colors or styles you prefer guests wear?
Answer
Our wedding party and individuals asked to play a part in our wedding will be wearing various shades of blue. Our guests aren’t required to do so, but you can certainly be our “something blue” too!

When should I arrive?
Answer
Please plan to arrive between 5:30 to 5:50 pm to ensure that you are seated for the ceremony that will begin promptly at 6:00 pm. As you make your travel plans, please take into account that our wedding will take place on a Friday and rush hour traffic may delay your arrival.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
We are excited to hold our ceremony outdoors in our venue’s beautiful garden space, with a waterfront view. The cocktail hour and reception will take place indoors.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
We ask that you silence all electronics during our ceremony to limit distractions and ensure you share in the moment with us. While we invite you to take photos, to have your own captured moments, we ask that you please be conscious of our professional photographers and videographers as well.

Will you be live streaming your wedding?
Answer
Yes. On our wedding day, return to our wedding site and click “Watch Our Wedding Live.” The live stream will begin at 5:55 pm and end at the conclusion of the wedding ceremony.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
Answer
We will have a buffet style dinner with various options and hope everyone will have an enjoyable meal during our reception. If you have specific concerns or allergies, please inform us when you RSVP.

Will there be alcohol?
Answer
Please enjoy drinks on us! Draft beer, wine, champagne, and mixed drinks will be provided. Consumption of any outside alcohol is prohibited at our venue.
