It all began at a mutual friend’s baby gender reveal in early 2019 — a casual afternoon that unknowingly marked the start of something life-changing. After months of talking, laughing, and getting to know each other from afar, Courtney began flying up to Columbus once a month to spend time with Paul. Each visit brought them closer together. Then, on Christmas Eve of 2019, something special happened. In a quiet, heartfelt moment, Paul looked at Courtney and told her he loved her for the first time. That simple, powerful exchange became the turning point. By January 2020, they made a big decision: Courtney would leave Texas behind and move to Ohio to be with Paul. In February 2020, with her Honda Civic packed to the brim and her sister Kaylee and mom Debbie along for the ride, Courtney made the move — not just to a new state, but into a new chapter of her life. Not long after, the world changed. One pandemic shutdown, countless road trips, and a few unforgettable concerts later, life surprised them again. In June 2021, they found out they were expecting their first child. In January 2022, they were overjoyed to welcome their sweet baby boy, Killian — a beautiful new beginning wrapped in tiny fingers and sleepless nights. Amid the joyful chaos of parenthood, they decided to press pause on wedding plans and embrace the adventure of family life. More travel, more concerts, and more memories followed — and in July 2023, they discovered baby number two was on the way. Then in February 2024, their family felt complete with the arrival of their fearless and sassy little girl, Elliana. So, here they are — after an untraditional, joy-filled journey of love, growth, music, babies, and everything in between.
