Want to grab a pizza and the best pizza shop salad you've ever dreamt of? Then this is a must attend. Written up in countless food forums and a regular feature on Phantom Gourmet. Great if you get in late Thursday or Friday night before the wedding.
The best sandwich you could possibly imagine. We do not come home without making a stop at Frigos. Courtney's go to order is the Panino Italiano on a water roll with hot mix toasted and a side of Anthony's Antipasto; Paul switches up his order a bit but routinely goes back to the Tunafish Sandwich on a water roll with hot mix and the house made potato chips on the side. After reading this to Paul he let me know that he only gets the Tunafish because it's healthy but if you want to go all out get the Italian.
If you need a fun activity on Saturday or Sunday if you're staying a little longer then consider a bike ride that starts in Northampton and ends in Amherst. You will see Western Mass scenery (farmland) and get your sweat on. Bike rentals are not a huge thing in Western Mass but if you need a bike we are sure the garage of Rick Aquadro has one of every size.
If you want to see what Courtney did on middle school nights when friends slept over look no further. Poke in and out of stores and not have to look hard for an array of food options. Our personal favorites are Bueno y Sano for lunch or Mulinos (where we went the night we got engaged), Spoletos or Osaka for dinner.
Looking to make a quick buck (or lose a few bucks) while in town? Head to MGM where you can get your bet on or if you're more Courtney's speed people watch for hours.
