We're excited to celebrate with you in your finest attire! Our dress code is black tie welcome. Meaning black tie is welcomed, but formal is also acceptable. Bride, groom, and wedding party will be in black tie. We kindly ask that guests reflect a similar level of formality. Thank you. Ladies: Floor-length dresses or gowns, or your most polished evening wear. Please no short dresses. If you prefer bright colors, we encourage you to wear a colorful formal dress as most black tie wear is typically dark in color. All walkways and event spaces are safe for heels. Men: Your best dark colored suit, dress shoes, and tie/bow tie, OR a tuxedo please.
Both our ceremony and reception will be at Drumore Estate. We will be outside for the majority of the evening. The ceremony will take place outdoors. Cocktail hour will be on the patio. The reception will be under a covered tent. Dancing is in an air conditioned ballroom.
Please arrive at 3:30pm for a prompt 4:00pm start time. If you are late... you'll be blacklisted. Just kidding! Be sure to come at 3:30pm for pre-ceremony refreshments! If you're using the transportation service from the hotels, the shuttle will be dropping everyone off at 3:30pm.
We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We ask that you please turn off all cell phones and cameras until after our ceremony, so you can be fully present and enjoy this special moment with us. We love our photographer and videographer, and you will too!
We will be having transportation to and from Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square. Please be on the bus no later than 2:40pm. The busses will be leaving the hotel promptly at 2:45pm. To ensure they arrive at the venue on time, they will not be waiting for a certain headcount. The busses will then be leaving the venue at the end of the night by 11pm to take everyone back to the hotel (which is a 1 minute walk to the after party spot).
We're keeping it grown-up! While we adore your little ones, we've decided to make our wedding an adults-only affair to ensure a night of fun and relaxation for all. Thank you for understanding!
In an effort to keep our wedding as intimate as possible and for vendor headcount, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!
There is a designated parking lot at the venue where parking attendants will be assisting. You may leave your car here overnight should you need to leave it behind because you had too much fun! Cars will need to be picked up by 11am the next day. We encourage you to use the transportation shuttle if you stayed at the room block hotel.
We have a room block at Lancaster Marriot Penn Square. You can find more information under our Travel tab. Don’t wait to book! We recommend doing it sooner rather than later since it's the summer.
You sure can! But please keep in mind, we've been told by the Drumore staff that the Ubers and Lyfts will not come back to pick you up at the end of the night. They will cancel your ride and don't like to come up the back roads, so other arrangements will be needed. If you're staying at the hotels downtown, our transportation service will take you there at the end of the night!
