In light of the coronavirus outbreak, is the wedding still happening?!

Answer

UPDATE: We have rescheduled to July 25, 2020. Same time, same place! Please RE-RSVP to Courtney (803-608-0964) or Kyle (607-435-3079). If you do not feel comfortable attending, we understand. We hope you can still make it!

We love kids-we really do! But we want our wedding to be your night off!

How do I get there?

Answer

The venue is located at 3535 Wando Plantation Way, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466. Coming from downtown Charleston, take Highway 17 North for 7.8 miles. Turn left on to State Highway 41 (Seel’s Outboard boat store is on the corner). Go 2.9 miles and turn right onto Dunes West Blvd (look for a white fence). Go 0.8 miles and turn left onto Wando Plantation Way. Tell the gate you’re there for the wedding. Keep going straight until you can’t anymore!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please. But, we want you to be comfortable so feel free to loosen that tie and slip off those heels at the reception!

Is a shuttle provided to and from the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide a shuttle for guest transportation. If you feel that you will need transportation to/from the wedding, Uber/Lift are great options. Please note, however, due to the location of the venue it may be difficult to get an Uber/Lift ride to pick you up after the reception. You can arrange in ADVANCE to have one of these pick-ups. Please coordinate if you feel this is necessary. Your driver should let the gate know they are there to pick up guests from the wedding.

How do I book a hotel and get the discounted rate?

Answer

If you'd like to stay at one of the hotels on our Travel page, please follow the link provided or call the hotel directly (whichever applicable) to reserve. If calling in to the hotel to book, please reference the Smith/Donnelly wedding on 5/16/2020.

Unplugged Ceremony

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony at our wedding. While we fully encourage everyone to bring their phones and cameras, we politely request that all devices be silenced and put away during the ceremony. Once we receive the professional images from our photographer after the wedding, we will be happy to send them to you. However, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like during the reception!

What if I'm vegetarian or have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know in advance if you are vegetarian or have any dietary restrictions. Feel free to write this in on the RSVP card or contact us to let us know.
