What attire is appropriate?

Answer

We kindly request black-tie optional attire for our wedding. This means a tuxedo is welcomed and always classic, a dark suit and tie is perfectly appropriate. For women, we suggest a floor-length gown, a sophisticated midi or cocktail dress, or chic separates in formal fabrics. Our ceremony will take place outdoors in a wooded setting, so we encourage guests to choose shoes that are stylish yet practical for walking on gravel and uneven mulch and ground. The reception will follow indoors, where the celebration continues in classic evening style with some ballroom dancing. Dress to feel your best—and ready for a magical evening under the trees and twinkling lights!

Can I bring the kiddos?

While we adore your little ones, we’ve chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration. We kindly ask that you make arrangements for a child-free evening so everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities. Thank you so much for your understanding!

The wedding is outside, so what happens if it rains?

Answer

We get wet! So, bring an umbrella if there is rain on the forecast! The bride and wedding party are prepared for an outdoor ceremony in the rain. If there is a storm, the ceremony will be relocated to inside.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue! When you enter, there will be signs guiding you down the road to the back parking lot. The Lot is close to the ceremony, but there is a walk to the reception. Plan accordingly. For those who need it, the venue offers a shuttle for people to ride if necessary!

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

To comply with venue regulations and licensure laws, we kindly ask that guests do not bring outside alcohol to the event. Bringing your own beverages is not permitted and is illegal on the premises. Thank you for understanding and helping us ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone. There will be a bar service at the reception for you to enjoy!

How can I get in touch with someone if I’m running late or lost?

Answer

The area around our venue is very rural and can be a little tricky to navigate. If you happen to get lost or have trouble finding your way, please contact Caitlynn at 317-757-9565. She’ll be happy to help guide you.

What are the wedding colors/theme?

Answer

Our wedding theme is enchanted forest/fairytale inspired. The color palette features grape purple, terracotta orange, tahiti purple, and mauve pink, which come together to create a warm, romantic, and magical setting.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation includes specific family members, those individuals are invited to attend. Otherwise, guests are welcome to bring a plus one.

Our wedding starts promptly at 3pm CST, so please arrive 30 minutes prior at 2:30pm CST
