Justin and Courtney met in college at the University of Southern Indiana. A mutual friend was hosting a game night that we both attended. We became game night partners and went on our first date a few days later. After two dates and a week of knowing each other, we started dating on September 19, 2021.

Justin and Courtney have been together for 5 years on the day of the wedding. We both graduated college in 2024 with a bachelor's degree. Justin became a police officer for the City of Evansville. Courtney went on to complete her Master's degree in occupational therapy and graduates in August, 2026. We both live in an apartment in Evansville with two cats, Kozmo and Kleo. We both enjoy hiking, board games, thrifting, and watching movies.
