It was August 2020, Courtney had just moved from Oklahoma to Indiana for optometry school and she downloaded Tinder as a joke with her friends. Exactly 3 swipes in she landed on Jacob's profile of a picture of him with a dog (who she later found out wasn't actually his dog). We matched and Jacob opened the conversation with cheesy Tom Petty lyrics. We went on our first date and basically spent every weekend together after that during the 4 years Courtney was in optometry school. In July 2024, we went on a trip to Punta Cana, DR with two of our friends where Jacob unexpectedly got down on one knee and proposed! We are so excited to get to celebrate one of the best days of our lives with our favorite people in November!
