Newport is a lovely place to visit any time But how do you get there? Well, listen to this rhyme. You can fly to T.F. Green, just **28 miles** from the Bay Once you arrive in Providence it's a short drive or uber away. For those who choose to fly from Boston Logan (aka Harvard Yard) It's an hour-and-a-half ride and we recommend to carpool or rent a car.
Train
Amtrak Northeast Regional
The Amtrak is a great option for those traveling from NY, Philadelphia, Boston, DC or Connecticut. We recommend taking the train to Kingston or Providence. Upon arrival, it's a short, 30-minute drive to Newport.
