In 2018, after each having a long day of work, Courtney and Danny individually decided to go to Sea Dog Brew Pub to watch the Celtics and have some chicken wings. Courtney sat down at the bar, and approximately 2 minutes later was asked by a stranger if he could have the seat next to her. They immediately started chatting when Danny informed her that "the wings are really good here". Their instant connection and apparent interest in each other led the bartender to put them on the same tab. They watched the game, chatted, enjoyed wings, and played music bingo. A few other folks that night tried to set them up, to which they replied "we got this." A few hours later, when the bar was closing, they were heading their separate ways when Danny courageously asked Courtney out for a drink another time. Since then, they have never spent more than 1 week apart.
