A gorgeous hotel on an island on Lake George with a great bar and fantastic lake views.

Quaint hidden ranch with a fun bar. Ask for a carrot from the front desk to pet a horse on your way out!

A bit of a trek but if you have the time, worth a drive to overlook Lake Placid from the very top of the mountain.

Whiteface Mountain

Check out the home of the Olympic park - a bit of a drive from the wedding venue, but worth seeing if you are extending your trip on either side of the wedding weekend.

A view worthy of a million bucks - while you're there stop in to The Garrison for a beer.

If you have time on your way back to the airport in Albany, we recommend stopping in Saratoga Springs!
