We are asking that every guest be vaccinated when attending our wedding. The venue is going on the honor system, however we ask that everyone have a photo of their vaccine card stored in their phone just in case they are asked to provide that info to the venue. If you are not vaccinated at the time of our wedding - please let us know so we can plan accordingly. We will be requiring every non-vaccinated guest to be tested prior to arrival in Brant Lake. We can't wait to (safely) celebrate with all of you!
In early 2015, Courtney was sitting on her couch in Manhattan while Corley was hanging out in Bed-Stuy. While only 4 miles from one another, their paths would have never crossed. Courtney didn't "cross rivers" or "do Brooklyn," while Corley was relatively new to New York City but already a Brooklynite. One evening, the two found themselves swiping on Tinder, matched, and agreed to meet up at the only bar Courtney had ever been to in Brooklyn -- The Levee. On the coldest night of the year (seriously, Courtney almost bailed on their first date to stay home and eat Thai noodles!), the two met up for drinks, pool, cheese-puffs, and Jenga. The rest as they say, is history! Countless trips, concerts, smiles, laughs, tears, 3 moves (2 in Brooklyn, and one cross-country to Denver) later, here we are -- getting married!
In October 2019, Corley and Courtney had a trip planned to explore Italy. Corley had bought a ring and was planning to surprise her in Venice on her birthday... but while in Rome, after a day of sightseeing, wine drinking, and pasta eating, the two returned to their Airbnb where Corley got down on one knee, said "I can't wait any longer, I want to spend the rest of my life with you," and popped the question. Courtney resoundingly said YES! We cannot wait to celebrate our love and commitment to one another with all of you September 25th under the pines in Brant Lake!
