MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A “REAL ID” IF FLYING!

On May 7, 2025, U.S. travelers must be REAL ID compliant to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities. Visit the linked website to learn more and see if your ID is in compliance. If you may need to renew with the DMV prior to flying.

Denver International Airport

If flying in, the best airport is Denver International Airport (DEN). We'd recommend renting a car but there is a shuttle option you can reserve as well. It’s about an hour and half drive from the airport to Estes Park.

Rental Car Options

There are many rental car locations at Denver airport. You will need to take a free shuttle from the airport to the location. Once you book a rental car, they should provide you with more detailed instructions for where to meet the shuttle.

Estes Park Shuttle

If you don't want to rent a car, you can reserve a shuttle instead! Details/pricing are at their website. You will not have as much flexibility with the timing of the shuttle compared to renting a car, but can be a great option if you don't want to drive back and forth to Estes Park. Note - Once you get to Estes Park, there are free shuttles/trolleys around town during certain hours. Uber/Lyft are limited so you'll want to plan ahead with others if you're wanting to get around after hours.

Ride Shares

Something to be aware of if you are thinking about getting an Uber/Lyft from the airport - It's often possible to get a ride to Estes Park via a rideshare app BUT then get stranded as rides are tough, if not impossible, to get back to the airport. Using rideshare apps to get to Estes Park is not recommended if you plan to use them for your return trip as well. We'd only recommend doing this if you'd be able to catch a ride back to the airport with someone else attending the wedding :)

Black Canyon Inn

This lodging is onsite to where the wedding ceremony and reception will be. There is have a mix of 26 condos (1bd, 2bd and 3bd) and 14 hotel suites that can be reserved. These units are individually owned, VRBO style, and are booked on a first come first reserve basis and availability can be found on our website. Guests are able to book directly online or by calling our lodging office at 970-586-8113. If you want to stay onsite we'd recommend booking ASAP as space/availability is limited!

Estes Park is a fairly small town, so most lodging options should be within 5-20 minutes of the venue.
