Jalessa Cox

Maid of Honor

Jalessa is my BESTIE/SISTER/ACE/MAID OF HONOR. I have known Jalessa for over 11 years and I am overjoyed to have her standing with me on my special day. Jalessa has taught me the true depth of sisterhood, and what it means to celebrate, love, encourage and be there for those who mean the world to you; especially your sister-friends. She certainly has coined the name "Joyful Jalessa" as it is never a dull moment being around her. Her resilience has allowed her to accomplish so much & I am so proud of the woman that she is. I am so proud to call her my bestie, my sister, my ace, and my MAID OF HONOR!

Christopher Davis

Best Man

We have been cool since the 7th or 8th grade. I met Chris during a cookout at his sister's house and we have been peas-in-a-pod since then. I learned the definition of loyalty from this guy. Over the years he has shown me what true friendship is all about. Friendship is one of the most rarest of things in the world and I am blessed to have experienced it because of this guy. Words can’t express who this brotha is to me, and he has picked me up so many times and has never let me down. I thank God for him being a part of this journey we call life. Thank you for true friendship

Ashley Nelson

Matron of Honor

Ashley has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. If I could sum up who she was as a child I would say that she had a bright spirit, lots of personality, and lots of energy. I am truly thankful for the friend she has been to me over the years. You always need that friend who helps you see the beauty in all things good or bad.

Tiras Wicks

Groomsman

The young scraper! We were about 14 or 15 years old when we met. Out of the “WOODGREEN CREW”, Tee and I always fell out. We always fought but we always hugged it out. One day I was beating Tee in a game of Monopoly and he picked up the board and hit me in the head with it! I’ll never forget that day! It’s a blessing to have you a part of our special day. I wouldn’t have it no other way. Thanks lil Hubs

Andrea Emmanuel

Bridesmaid

Andrea is that friend that reminds me that you must always trust in Gods plan. I have seen her grow on so many different levels and yet when the challenges came her way she kept herself anchored in the Lord. She has such a BIG heart and she never hesitates to lend a helping hand. Her fun personality makes her the one you always want to invite along to the party, and she always knows how to keep your SPIRITS high.

Kelly Speaks

Groomsman

The straight shooter He is the glue that holds “WOODGREEN” together. He is that homie that will keep you grounded. He shoots it to you straight and he doesn’t tell you what you want to hear. Kelly will hit you with the truth to help make you a better person. I believe in my heart he wants everybody in his circle to be the best that they can be. I think the “WOODGREEN CREW” is so ride or die together because of Kelly Speaks. I look up to you big homie! Thanks Kel

Tracee Spears

Bridesmaid

The one thing that comes to mind when I think of Tracee is "Superwoman". She is an amazing woman with such a loving heart. You pour so much love into this family and you have always looked out for me like a sister. Although I am gaining a wonderful husband in this union, I am also gaining another beautiful sister.

Kewon Williams

Groomsman

The lil Giant! Kewon and I have known each other the longest out of all the Groomsmen. I’ve known Kewon since we were about 4 or 5 years old. We both lived in Cheryrview with our grandmothers, and now here we are; grown men and still good homies. Kewon and my sister have a beautiful son together, a beautiful relationship, and I’m proud to have him a part of my family and a part of our most special day. Thanks home Boi!

Jamya Wallace

Jr. Bridesmaid

This beautiful young lady is full of talent. For as long as I have known her it has been cheering, dancing, performances and parades. I pray you continue to do that which makes you smile because you deserve it. I am so proud of you Jamya and most of all I am so proud to be your Aunt Courtney.

Phillip "Anthony" Boston II

Jr. Groomsmen

The Gamer Our relationship has grown so much over the years. One day Anthony asked me if he could call me Uncle Carlos and I said "absolutely" and one day I'll make it official. I believe that day his simple question and our conversation solidified our bond. I look forward to seeing the man that this brilliant guy grows up to be. Thanks Anthony for accepting me into the family.

Dennis Caldwell

Groomsman

The trial blazer!! My boy DC and I have been close friends for the past 22 years. Out of the “WOODGREEN CREW” he was the first to do “Everything”! The first to have kids; the first to get married; the first to do it all! I’m proud of DC. I’m proud of the man he is, the father that he is, and for the all around example he is. When I first moved to “WOODGREEN”, DC had a positive impact on me during a time I really needed it. I appreciate and love you for that! Thanks Big Homie DC

For all the days along the way
