Our Story

My 30th birthday trip to Alaska. We ran (literally) up this mountain in Denali National Park to get a good view of Mount Denali. I thought Ben was going to propose here; I was wrong.

Quick little holiday weekend in Chicago where Ben got to see the Bean, eat a Chicago dog and visit the Shedd aquarium for the first time.

Our last Christmas in our apartment! We loved that place.

Ben tagged along on a work trip to Huston & we went to an Astros game.

Ben’s 30th birthday present was a helicopter flight seeing tour in Iceland. We landed in a geothermal area where we got to walk right up to hot springs.

More Iceland hiking! This one was much dryer hiking into an ice cave.

Our trip to Iceland was wet! This was one of our first hikes. Ben thought we should wait it out, but of course I wanted to go. We hiked to this swimming pool and didn’t even need to jump in.

Fall colors in Duluth are always so pretty!

Prior to starting my job, we went on a ‘booze cruise’ with Kayla and Ben where we met the most eclectic people and spent our days in the hot tub drinking mojitos.

Lake of the Isles will always hold a special place in our hearts since we spent so much time on and around the lakes living in Uptown.

We decided to spend a week tent camping in Yellowstone National Park. We did not plan on a week of rain, 30 degree temps and no hot water.
