Best Man
Likes: I like southern style breakfast. The sound of a bunch of kids singing and holding a melody together. I like black velvet tamarind, kilishi and the sway of a woman’s hips on heels (Lord have mercy). However, what I like the most is being in a room with a handful of friends chatting about football, music and history with soft music in the air. Dislikes: This is easy; small towns and a prideful person. Fun Memory: In the Summer of 2016, Al and I live in an aprtment 3mins from midland college. This apartment was paid by him and a mutual friend. I say mutual friend because I can’t remember the brother. Anyways, that house was most days a resting place; a comedy parlour, a tomb of despair, a refuge against the torment of the heat, a conveyor of sepulcher of nicknames and heartbreaks.
Maid of Honor
Likes: my dog Chumbo, drawing (mostly abstract-style dogs), listening to music except country (sorry Courtney), skiing, Roller Coaster Tycoon Dislikes: jewelry (I have kosmemophobia), stickers, bugs, chewing gum Courtney and I were out with friends at a karaoke place. We didn't know a lot of people there, and they kept choosing songs that were their inside jokes. It got pretty boring, so we told them we had to leave, but instead we rented the room next door. Finally we got to sing hits like 'For the First Time in Forever' (the reprise obviously), and Starship's 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now' Eventually we heard the other group leaving, and we ducked under the door window so they wouldn't see why we ditched them. Courtney is hands down the best duet partner I have ever had.
Best Man
Likes : freedom , working out Dislikes : corporations being hungry The memory is when a bunch of us played soccer and flag football together while @ MC we had a really great time. Running around like maniacs. I believe me and you were more defensive on both occasions
Maid of Honor
Likes: Running, my dog Cassie, charcuterie boards Dislikes: Meat, living far away from Courtney Courtney and I met at our last company in the middle of a plant turnaround and quickly became inseparable. Through lots of adversity, I honestly don't know what I would have done without Courtney in my life. I love all of our adult sleepovers, kayak trips, and playdates with our puppies! Courtney and I like to joke about how we are basically the same person - there have been way too many coincidences. My favorite is when we found out that we used to do puzzles while watching the same show in the same place, in the same apartment, wearing the same sweater, 6 months apart, before we knew each other. The universe obviously had plans for us.
Groomsman
Likes: all the manly things to do like hunting, fishing cars, horses, traveling, and talking smack. Dislikes: im not sure ?? I do not like rude people and anchovies.. lol And bro a memory of us that stands out is just Chilln and hanging out.
Bridesmaid
Likes: cooking for family/friends, making jokes, farm animals, hiking Dislikes: cold weather, when people are unkind, staying up too late, debating my opinion with others, taking myself too seriously I worked at BYU late on campus, and walked home around midnight, because I didn't have a car. I would leave work, on the other side of campus. We started a little tradition where I would call and chat with Courtney when I was walking home and she often invited me over for quesadillas at like 12:30 or 1:00 am. We would talk and catch up and then she would drive me home. This story just shows how good a friend Courtney is, there's a million other things she could do instead of taking that time out to make me food and talk, but instead of being asleep or doing homework, she made time for me.
Bridesmaid
Likes: snowboarding, Star Wars, riding my motorcycle, her dog Avy (and her husband Bryan), playing DnD, and curling up with a good book Dislikes: Mushrooms, spiders, being late to things, the cold Favorite memory: Working together at BYU! We were TAs together for a global leadership class for a few semesters, and we had so much fun. We got to be examples of strong women in engineering to younger students, and also got to help at a conference in Denver (where we circled our hotel for 15 minutes due to faulty GPS and a one-way street with no left turns). We also worked in so many study groups and projects, which included late nights in the Clyde lounge to finish homework with pizza, building a robot to collect ping pong balls, and study sessions in code-named rooms for our finals.
Groomsman
Likes: Skydiving, Scuba-diving, backpacking/camping Dislikes: Vanilla ice cream, stretching/mobility work, group discussions Favorite memory: When Al and I were roommates back in the Midland College days; studying for classes would end in one of two ways on the weekends. We’d either end up stuffing our faces with Whataburger or smashing a couple dozen donuts!
Bridesmaid
Likes: Tom Hardy, online shopping, taking too many pictures of my kid, and fighting the patriarchy Dislikes: rollercoasters, condiments, slow drivers, and MLMs Fav memory w/ bride: definitely our sleepovers growing up- making weird videos on our flip phones, soaking chocolate bars in soda, making skits to bully a certain sibling, texting boys, laughing until we pee ourselves kinda nights.
Groomsman

Bridesmaid
Likes: Reading, crafting, and board games Dislikes: Heights, dishes, and careless weeds Fave memory with the bride: Some of my favorite memories were when Courtney and I would deem life too stressful and decide that the only cure for it was to drive around belting out songs, getting yummy treats, and talking about life.
Bridesmaid
