Other Accommodations

Kaanapali, Lahaina, and nearby areas have a wide range of accommodations. Airbnb and Vrbo offer great options nearby like Maui Kaanapali Villas and Maui Eldorado Resort. The Sheraton and The Westin are both Marriott hotels that are within walking distance to the Royal Lahaina. Courtney has grown up staying at Marriott's Maui Ocean Club - Molokai, Maui & Lanai Towers. It is a beachfront vacation ownership resort on Kaanapali Beach, about a 5-10 minute drive to the Royal Lahaina. Buying a week-long stay on the resale market (via RedWeek) is often much more cost-effective than buying directly through Marriott. Flight

Kahului Airport (OGG)

We recommend flying into OGG, which is Maui's main airport. Please note it is about a 45 minute drive to the Royal Lahaina / Kaanapali Beach area.

Rental Car

Rental Car

We recommend renting a car from Kahului Airport (OGG) for your stay. Having a car will make it much easier to explore the island, as public transportation is limited. You may consider sharing a rental with other guests.
