Megan and Courtney’s relationship started when Courtney was born. Growing up we had our ups and down but now we are closer than ever and closer every day. Super excited to watch Courtney and Nigel take the next step in their lives, and create new memories with them as we all become a family.
Best Man
Dawn painted the Santa Barbara sky as Nigel awaited his baby brother. Excitement filled the hospital room. Then, Ian's cries announced his arrival. Nigel's eyes widened at Ian's beauty, an instant bond forming. A protective love swelled within him. Even distance couldn't weaken their connection. Meeting Ian was a cherished moment, a reminder of family's enduring gift. Nigel knew their bond was truly special, meant to last forever.
Maid of Honor
Myself and Courtney’s relationship started October 20th, 1998 when Court was born. It was all fun and games until I noticed she was a red head and I was no longer the only red head girl in the household. The connection Courtney and myself have built over these 24 almost 25 years is only continuing to grow…mainly because I have no choice, we’re sisters. She’s one of a kind and I’m excited to see where her journey continues.
Best Man
There Nigel was May 31, 1996. Patiently waiting on a warm 70° Friday. The clock just struck noon as he hears his mother's car rumble into the driveway. He hears what he thinks is a door thump shut but isn't sure if it was a car door or his heart beating out of his chest. His fingers curling around the couch cushion as he sits on the edge of his seat. The door squeaks open half a second later and Nigel jumps from the sofa and sprints to the door to greet his new baby brother. Once he sees the face of the new family member, all the blood drains from his own seeing how adorable I was. Flabbergasted, he quickly realized that he was no longer the cutest son. At that moment, he realized the only way he could regain #1 child over the adorableness of the new infant was to beat him... in school and in chores to try and gain back what he once had. After nearly 28 years, he still spends every waking moment trying to claw back into the spot his baby brother stole from him.

Renee and Courtney’s relationship, started from the day I was born. As we’ve grown up we have created countless memories, and I have looked to up to Courtney as one of my biggest role models in life. I could not be happier for Courtney and the happiness that Nigel has brought to her. I am beyond grateful to have Courtney in my life, and more importantly almost like a big sister. I can not wait to see what her future holds with Nigel, now by her side, and for them to live the best life together!

The first time I met Nigel was when he came to my house in Mass and prepared a good ol' pasta dinner for the fam. He seemed ok when we met, as I was a bit skeptical but he’s only gone up from there. One thing I did like was he got me intrigued in disc golf which is surprisingly fun... with a cold 6 pack of course. At the end of the day, cheers and welcome to family, ya giant!

Rebecca and Courtney first met in the fifth grade when Courtney was a sassy and bold mini version of herself who ruled the school bus. Rebecca and Courtney became best friends almost overnight, spending every Friday from middle school through high school hanging out and inevitably taking a joint nap on each other’s couches. They have been there for each other through each phase of life, and Rebecca is so excited to support Courtney through her newest journey and celebrate the couple as they approach their big day.

I knew Nigel long before I knew him. Growing up, he was just a friend of my brother’s and he was Ian’s older brother. As we grew into adulthood, I started to actually get to know him at long diner nights with the boys. He treated me like a little brother at a time when I needed it. He took me under his wing and taught me the finer arts of the culinary world and just how to be a functioning adult. That was over a decade of being one of my closest friends; he became more than a friend. He’s family.

Miranda is mistress turned best friend. An introduction from Rebecca led to an instantaneous friendship between Miranda and Courtney, with their first time meeting ending in a sleepover. From senior year in high school until now, Miranda has enjoyed watching Courtney grow and become the wonderful woman she is. With all of the chaotic unplanned adventures and the deep conversations about planning their futures, Miranda is excited to continue making memories with Courtney and is thrilled to invite Nigel into the journey. A big congratulations to the happy couple; wishing Courtney and Nigel a healthy, happy, and love filled future!

Nigel won't be surprised to hear that I don't remember exactly how we met... so instead I'm going to talk about one of the earliest memories I have with the groom to be. ADFM. ADFM was the name for a series of videos Nigel, myself, and others made when we were 14-15 years old that were inspired by the show ‘Jackass’. A Dumb F*cking Movie we called it, and man, was it dumb. We attempted to beat ourselves up and do, what we thought to be, daring feats and stunts while recording. We'd jump off roofs, Nigel chased llamas, and I got kicked over while hiding in a trash can. It was dangerous, hilarious, and thankfully we lived to tell the tale. I think Courtney will be grateful to hear that we've grown to be a bit more cautious with doing reckless nonsense, but I will forever cherish those young and dumb memories. Cheers to the new (and less reckless) adventures, you're the man Nigel. Love ya big guy

Hi my name is Sean. Courtney and I met at Penn State. I asked Courtney at the beginning of fall semster sophomore year if I could go to a basketball game with her and from there our relation began to grow and we became inseparable. I remember the summer going into Junior year Courtney calling me and telling about about this guy she met not knowing this was Nigel who she is now marrying. I am beyond excited to be apart of this journey with them.

Once upon a time in a dimly lit 10th grade algebra classroom, Nigel met his hero. Nigel was astounded by his dashing good looks and ability to solve for x in his head. The two would create equations determining the air speed velocity Nigel's nostrils could generate...the answer...quite simple, more than all of the jets in the Royal Air Force combined. The two brought their clans together and their inner circle grew. A wolf pack defined by BRO. A bond that distance and time could not defeat. To Nigel, Tim was the brother that he wished he had...sorry Ian and Trevor. And to Tim, Nigel was the cooler much better looking version of Chris.

I met Courtney and Nigel at the local bar taking care of them, turning into my regulars, then growing into my really close friends. Cheyenne was Courtney's first friend in Virginia and helped Courtney make new friends.

I was asked to write a small anecdote about how I met Nigel Williamson. I cant really do that because it wouldn’t do the man justice to just talk about how we met. This man has been my friend through adventure and heartache. Most of the time I didn’t deserve a friend like him. I’m truly lucky he kept me around. Plus, the crazy adventures we have been on. We’ve experienced Rutgersfest 2x, Baltimore Craigslist ads, Amish Nigel, Chateau de Nigel, and so many more. Thank you for having me be a part of your wedding. Now to end this with a bastardization of a quote from I movie we have both seen way too many times, “Nigel isn’t the friend I deserve, he’s the friend I needed.”

Autumn and Courtney’s friendship started slow. I met Courtney at a dinner party at our mother in laws house in Ocean City almost 4 years ago. At the time Courtney and Nigel lived far away so we didn't see each other much until the last 2 years. When I got married, I had the honor of having Courtney in my bridal party. She had made the day so special with a lovely book of letters from all my friends and family. Courtney is so thoughtful when it comes to gifts and the little things, like my son Jaxon. 3 weeks after he was born she came to stay with my husband Trevor (Nigel's brother) and I to help me recover while Trevor went back to work. In that time, her and I became very close and now I cant go 2 weeks without seeing her! I love it! I know her nephew loves it too! I am so LUCKY to have Courtney be part of our family as my Sister in Law!

Legend tells of a remote antiquity in which the world did not know joy or happiness. In this bleak wasteland named Upper Township Primary, a place where no one wanted to be, emerged two lights. Like two beacons shining forth from the darkest mountain, two unlikely heroes who swore to face down any enemy, any challenge, even death itself, in order to liberate the world from its despotic existence. As only the fates can write it, these were the Sons of Two Opposing Houses, enemies by birthright, heirs of two significant legacies. First was Nigel the Wordsmith, son of Neil, who was a relative of someone who was the son of a William at some point in time; a tall and imposing man, best known for the quick jokes and an occasional light of your smoke, hailing for the Lands of Avalon, England. Then there was Alexander the Wisest, son of Andy, of the not so royal lineage of Huffard, rebellious by nature with the blood of early American Colonists, who was most famously known for his intelligence and charisma; it is rumored he once even convinced the Emperor to put on his clothes. And as they say, the rest became history… *Some historians contend that they were in 3rd Grade and it was an art project, however there is no evidence to support this claim.

Natalie and Courtney met when working together at a restaurant down the shore. Little did Natalie know that Courtney would become a huge part of her life. After not knowing who Nigel was dating, Natalie was pleasantly surprised to open her door and see Courtney standing there!! They have gotten close over the last few years and can’t wait to stand with each other as they both marry the loves of their lives! Penny forever!!!

This story starts decades ago in a time where bills and the weight of adulthood were but distant nightmares. The scene starts with a young me, a young naive freshman in gym class, stretching and analyzing my future elite squad that would conquer this class and lead us to glory and fame (this of course is what everyone thinks as a freshman so don't judge.) I see our first sport is something called ultimate frisbee.... I think “hmmm what in the heck is that?” So I go up to the very tall teacher and ask how do you play and he turns and looks down and says “I'm a student!” I apologize and quickly exchange names. Upon finding out that my new giant’s name was ‘Nigel’, he explained the game to me and I remember thinking “nah this dude is a senior hiding in a freshman class”, but I digress. We finally pick teams and what do you know Nigel and I were on the same team. And crushed everyone with our team workout and in that moment, I knew I had found a new friend. As time went by and gym classes fell before our feet our bond became stronger and forged in the tears of our foes. That was nearly 19 years ago, and I cherish our friendship more than ever.
