Is a shuttle provided?

Answer

A shuttle will be running from the Country Trails Inn and Suites in Preston, Mn to Butternut Ridge Farm. Welcome Drinks = 3:15pm Wedding Ceremony = 4:00pm Shuttle Service to Butternut Ridge Farm 1st Ride - 2:30pm 2nd Ride - 3:00pm Final Ride - 3:30pm Shuttle service back to the hotel will begin at 8:00pm and then run approximately every 30min-45min depending on need.

Where should guests park?

Answer

If you are staying at the hotel in Preston, guests are encouraged to park at the hotel and take the shuttle. If your will be driving to the ceremony, parking will be communicated on-site!

Are kiddos invited?

Answer

Although we love your littles, our celebration will be adults only. Infants under 12 months welcome.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, only one seat has been reserved for you.

What COVID precautions are being taken?

Answer

Updated: 5/16 We are staying up-to-date on all CDC guidelines and will be following the CDC recommendations for COVID during our special day. The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors so we have that going for us! (No outdoor gathering limits as of 5/13.) We ask that any guest not feeling well or who have been possibly exposed stay home (sad face). Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided for guests to use at their choosing. We will work to keep this updated if and when the CDC reccomendations change. Thank you all for bearing with us!

How will we social distance during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Ceremony: We will be setting the ceremony chairs up in groups of 2s and 4s. This way guests can sit comfortably with their immediate friends/family members. Reception: We will be doing our best to arrange seating of guests with close family and friends if possible. Should guests feel uncomfortable eating next to others, we will have blankets available for those that wish to make their meal a picnic!

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 4pm to ensure you are able to make it to the ceremony site. Welcome drinks start at 3:15pm if you would like to start the celebration early!

Dressy casual—Garden party is the vibe : ) June can be a little cool at night so maybe bring a light sweater also!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors while the reception will be under a tent.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

June in Minnesota is very pleasant with daily temperatures usually between 70 and 80 degrees. When the sun goes down it can be a little chilly so a light wrap or jacket might be nice to bring along just in case!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged! We invite you to be fully present with us during our ceremony, so please turn off all phones and cameras. Once we say 'I Do' please feel free to take all the pics you want! Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #heyforever.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved rooms at the Country Trails Inn and Suites in Preston, Mn and there are also many wonderful boutique hotels and bnb's in neighboring Lanesboro. Check out our Travel and Accomodations section for more info and suggestions!
