This is one of the Bride's favorite local attractions: The farm and household of the famous American poet, Robert Frost. You can walk a trail outside the home and see the natural inspiration of his poetry, or for a nominal fee, get a personal tour of the interior of his house. This is a great near-by attraction and especially exciting for history and literature enthusiasts.
You've never lived until you've had fresh New Hampshire maple syrup. Even though maple season is just ended in April, there's still plenty of maple candy and syrup. This place is also a diner, and the food here is definitely worth the drive (especially if you're ordering the deep fried french toast, it's the Bride's favorite).
Tax Free Shopping! Check out the Mall of New Hampshire (address above and link below) and the strip of stores on South Willow Street in Manchester. Serious shoppers may enjoy taking a one hour drive up to the Tilton Outlet Stores.
