We kindly request no gifts at or in honor of our wedding. Your presence with us on our big day is more than enough! For anyone feeling especially generous, we have listed below some Chicago charities that are meaningful to us both, but donations are by no means required.
PAWS Chicago
Sarah and Jacob adopted their beloved dog, Data (pictured above), from a PAWS Chicago shelter. Donations to PAWS will go toward housing, food, and medical care for the dogs and cats PAWS cares for while they wait for a permanent home.
The Night Ministry
The Night Ministry is an organization that offers support, shelter, and health care to unhoused and underserved populations in the Chicagoland area. Donation to The Night Ministry will go toward supplies for their Health Outreach Buses, their Youth Housing Program, and other support services that The Night Ministry provides.
Open Books
Open Books offers literacy programs and access to literature for youth across Chicago. Donations to Open Books will go to support their virtual writing workshops, book grants for teachers and young readers, and their Reading Buddies literacy program.
