To make your arrival as seamless as possible, please follow the unique instructions below for parking and arriving at our ceremony and reception. Step 1: Parking at Point Park, located on 2nd Street in Parkersburg When you arrive at Point Park, look for signage directing you to the designated parking area. Step 2: Boarding The Island Belle Sternwheeler Once parked, head through the flood wall opening, where our sternwheeler will be waiting to take you to the venue. The boat ride is a short 15 minutes. There will be bathrooms provided. The boat will depart promptly at 4:30pm, so please arrive at least 15 minutes early! The boat will only be making one trip to the island. Step 4: Arriving at The Blennerhassett Island The boat will dock at the island and you will follow the signage to the ceremony area. Step 5: Reception at The Blennerhassett Hotel The boat will depart from the island immediately following the ceremony. Guests will drive to the hotel private lot.

Semi-Formal: Suits, polos, sundresses, and cocktail dresses are welcome to fully embrace this historic and beautiful venue.

Guests will have access to the seated upper and lower decks. The lower deck is covered in mind of inclement weather. Private restrooms and refreshments will be provided, as well as lots of opportunities for photos as you cruise along the scenic route!

Wedding Ceremony

5:30 pm - 6:00 pm

The Blennerhassett Island

Semi-Formal: Suits, polos, sundresses, and cocktail dresses are welcome to fully embrace this historic and beautiful venue.

Please Note: The Island Belle Sternwheeler will be making ONE trip to the island. Please be prompt with your arrival to allow enough time to park and make your way to the boarding dock. The sternwheeler will depart from the island immediately following the ceremony. Guests will then drive to The Blennerhassett Hotel free private parking lot for the reception.

Reception

6:30 pm - 11:45 pm

Once you arrive at the hotel, you will head to the Charleston Ballroom to begin cocktail hour. Feel free to take this opportunity to fill out our guest book, highlight your favorite bible verse in our bible, take pictures at the photo booth, and enjoy yourself! Dinner, drinks, & dancing will begin at approximately 7:30pm and we encourage you to dance the rest of the night away with us!
