If you're making a trip out of our wedding weekend, exploring Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park is also a fun option! Hike or drive through RMNP, as there are lots of viewpoints to pull off at. Enjoy lunch in Estes Park at Bird & Jim. The famous Stanley Hotel is also here and is free to walk through. About a 1.5 hours from the city.
Boulder is an little college town built nearly in the Rocky Mountains. A great way to spend a half day exploring and getting the feeling that you traveled to the mountains without the 2 hour drive. Check out Pearl Street for shopping + foos + drinks! We love Bar Taco & Lindsay's Boulder Deli. About 45 minutes from Littleton.
Cute little town, with great mountain views, hiking, restaurants, and breweries. Check out Lookout Mountain for views or Windy Saddle Cafe for brunch. About 25 minutes from Littleton.
If you're making a trip out of our wedding weekend, we highly recommend checking out the mountains, as it's an easy day trip! The gondolas will be open to ride to the top of the mountain for amazing views. There are trails to hike and restaurants to enjoy. Most resorts are about 1.5 hours from the city. Vail, Breckenridge, Winter Park are all good resort options to check out.
