Room Cancellation Policies and Penalties

Before March 5, 2024: There is no penalty for cancellation of your reservation. You will receive a refund of your initial deposit. From March 6 until March 21, 2024: a 1-night penalty per room will apply. From March 22, 2024 until travel: The booking is non-refundable. IMPORTANT: There are TWO types of insurance: -The only way to obtain a refund once in the penalty dates is through "Travel Insurance", added to the INITIAL booking. "Cancel for any reason" -Only the "Select Insurance" option can be added to a booking before the room is paid in full. -If payments are not received according to schedule, Hola Weddings reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Money Exchange.

Answer

It is always good to bring some cash already converted to pesos. We advise getting spending cash by requesting the exchange with your bank in the US. This will save you money on fees. You can also check in with your credit card about international fees, as most places do accept credit/debit cards.

Are we allowed to bring our kids?

Absolutely! Just make sure to add them to the room booking. The resort has an activity center for the kiddos with scheduled activities throughout the day.

Transfer Cost Agreed Per Contract

Transfer company: Mayaland Round trip (charged per room), depending on total number of guests to take the transfer. • 1 to 3 passengers for $299 USD prer vehicle. • 4 to 6 passengers is $358 USD per vehicle. - The service provided is directly from airport to hotel (RT service) is does not make other stops. - This particular resort is a 45 – minute+ drive from the airport and there are not enough other resorts up in that area that we need regular transfer services to, so they only do private vehicles currently. If it makes sense based on airline schedules (and they must be on the exact same flights to share the private transfer, not just similar times, in case one gets delayed/cancelled last minute), we can review the group closer to their travel date and consolidate them into the larger vehicles! - Mayaland transfers are refundable outside of 48 hours prior to departure, and yes are part of the covered package regarding insurance (either plan). We would not charge a penalty on cancelled transfers until we were inside 48 hours prior to travel. Thank you! - They must have the same exact arrival schedule in order to share the roundtrip transfer, but for departures from the hotel it’s a little more flexible. - The reason the arrivals have to match is because if one gets delayed or cancelled, then the other party would either need their own private vehicle that they wouldn’t have paid ahead of time for, or they might have to wait an unseemly amount of time in the airport.
