Any time I thought about marrying Cory there were two things I was certain about. The first was a pear shaped diamond and the second was having Kayla as my Maid of Honor. I met Kayla when we worked together at Mercy Hospital. I decided to get to know the new girl, not knowing she would end up being one of the best friends I’ve ever had. We discovered we are both named Kayla Marie, and the rest is history. This girl is there for me through it all, and I truly believe she was put in my life to show me what a real genuine friendship is supposed to be like. We laugh together, cry together, and have the best time no matter what we’re doing. I couldn’t imagine getting married without Kayla by my side. I cannot wait to see how many times she cries on my wedding day. I love you Kayla #2.

Not many people know this but I met Taylor before Cory. She was at the bar where I worked and we ended up making small talk...now look where we are! Tay is the sister that I’ve always wanted. The type of person that’s not just your sister, but your best friend. Before she moved to Dubai we would spend our days shopping, eating Chick Fila, and laying by the pool, then spend our weekends drinking and dancing our way through South Side. We are lucky we have so many things in common which makes everything we do together enjoyable! I am beyond blessed to be gaining a sister like Taylor and knew as soon as I was engaged that I wanted her to be my Matron of Honor. I knew there was no way I could plan a wedding without her by my side! Tay, “you’re my right hand, you’re my go to!” Love you Tay!

I met Maria when I first started to date Cory because they were friends. At the time she was going to Ohio State and would come visit on the weekends. We would spend our Saturday nights showing her the infamous South Side. Fast forward a few years later and Maria went from being our friend, to our sister-in-law when she married Shane. I’m so appreciative to have Maria for wedding advice and random questions I have. She is always willing to lend a helping hand, even while working to become a doctor and living in Kansas City. These are only a few reasons why she is so incredible. Maria is one of the most compassionate, considerate, and kindhearted people I know. I’m lucky enough to not only have her as my friend, but as my sister as well. Love you (insert our favorite H word here LOL).

When I decided to ask Melissa to be in my wedding my first thoughts were “people are going to think I’m crazy, we’ve know each other less than a year.” But what no one knows is that Melissa is truly my counterpart, the yin to my yang, and the pepperoni to my cracker. I met Melissa when I transferred to UPMC McKeesport. The more we talked the closer we became. I discovered that Melissa is one of the most warm-hearted, unselfish, and considerate people I have ever met. We’ve said that we wished we met sooner in life, but know our paths crossed at the exact moment when we’d need each other most. I am so grateful to have Melissa by my side because her willingness to always help others lets me know she’ll be there for me though thick and thin! Love you Melissa!

Hannah is the type of friend that everyone should want in their circle, and I’m lucky enough to have her in mine! I met Hannah a few years ago when she started dating Cory’s friend Zach. You always worry if you’re going to like the girlfriends of your significant others friends, but that never crossed my mind with Hannah. It seems like we’ve always known each other because our friendship is so effortless and she’s the only person who loves cats as much as me. We could be hanging out around a fire having some drinks or going to shows and raging all night. No matter what we do we always have the best time filled with lots of laughs. Hannah is one of the kindest and sweetest souls I’ve ever met and I’m so grateful to not only have her in my life, but also in my wedding! Love ya Hannah!

I never would have thought that meeting Cory would also bring such an incredible person into my life like Kristen. Kristen knew Cory for a few years before we started dating, and when I met her it was an instant friendship that I am so thankful for. When I say we have been through it all, I whole heartily mean that. Our friendship has seen some of the best and worst moments in each other’s lives. What I love about Kristen is that we can be dancing on stage at the club one night, to drinking a bottle of wine and crying together watching “This Is Us” the next. Regardless of what we’re doing together, we always have the best time. Kristen’s overgenerous heart and kind soul makes me so grateful to have her in my wedding. I know she’ll be there to make my day perfect. I love you Kristen!

Asking Erika to be in my wedding is a top moment in my life. Seeing the pure joy and excitement on her face let me know she was the missing piece to my puzzle! I met Erika from working together at Yoli’s. We have worked together almost every Sunday for the past year and there has never been a dull moment! Erika is one of those people who can put a smile on your face no matter how down you’re feeling and will go above and beyond to make sure everyone around her is happy. Erika is truly one of my best friends (even if she’s scared of me) and I’m so happy we met. There is no doubt in my mind she will be the life of the party at my wedding, especially after a few shots of Patron. I love you my little gremlin and I can’t wait for you to be part of my day!

This little peanut holds the key to our hearts. Our one and only niece who is the daughter of Cory's sister Taylor & Dustin. We are certain she is going to steal the spotlight at our wedding with her outgoing personality and ridiculously cute looks. We might have to play a song from Frozen so this little girl can show everyone her dance moves! Let just hope she doesn't ask the DJ to play Baby Shark!

Brody is not only our nephew, but also Cory's godson. He is the son of Cory's sister Taylor & Dustin and the one who made Cory an uncle for the first time! Their bond is unbreakable and anyone with eyes can see how much Brody looks up to his "Coco" and adores him. Brody has gone from our adorable chubby little boy to the most handsome little man. We cannot wait to see him on the dance floor all night busting out some moves!

Elijah is our sweet nephew and the son of Cory's older brother Adam. We were always lucky to spend a lot of time with Elijah while Adam and Cory lived together. I loved being able to wake up in the morning and make Elijah french toast with no syrup, only powder sugar, and lots of fruit. There is never a dull moment when we are spending time with him. Elijah is wise beyond his years and has the sweetest and most compassionate soul. We cannot wait to see how handsome this little man will be in his suit!
