Coral Cove Park / Blowing Rocks Preserve
A drive up north but worth it! This is where Cory proposed to Heather and is a great area in Jupiter to visit the lighthouse you can walk to the top of, have a high possibility of seeing Loggerhead turtles out in the waters and if you miss them there is a Loggerhead Marinelife Center to see rescued turtles and other beautiful marinelife!
Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park
We went here for a date and were stunned to find this oasis with cystal clear, shallow water right against the amazing scenery of the lighthouse, which we walked to the top of. We recommend getting there when they open at 8 AM to truly feel like you have been transported to a tropical island.
Pompano Beach Pier
Many of our beach dates took place here due to all there is to do in the area. Flanigans is before the bridge and Lucky Fish is right on the beach where we have had dinner to experience the pier and romantic vibes after the sun sets.
Zoo Miami
We have celebrated Cory's Birthday here and had a great experience seeing the elephants, mokeys and lions so up close. It is a big zoo with yummy Spanish dishes and great snacks as well as nice areas to sit and enjoy each other's (and the animals') company.
Gulfstream Park Racing
Our first date! They have many free events throughout the year at the Carousel Club - a tented area right next to the race track. Horse racing, shopping, dining and themed parties - there's so much to do in one area. We challenge you to spend more time here than we did on our first date (must surpass 6 hours! Crazy we know lol)
Everglades Holiday Park Airboat Tours and Rides
Airboat rides and gators! Doesn't get more FL than that.... unless you also order the Gator nuggets, which we love. Promise it tastes like chicken
Amerant Bank Arena
We had many dates here, from Panthers Games to seeing Andrea Bocelli perform live for his 30th Anniversary tour on Valentine's Day. You might have to return to town 2-3 months after the wedding, should they win to celebrate the Panther Parade at Ft. Lauderdale Beach like we did for the 2025 celebration! #GoPanthers
Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf
We have played Mini Golf here, and it's hard to go wrong with beautiful weather, putting underneath waterfalls, and grabbing a bite to eat afterwards at the burger shack! Beautiful location and healthy competition mixed into the calm, relaxing scenery is a must.
