It's Happening!!

We saw this as an opportunity to change the narrative sooo.... Heather was down on her luck and was repairing a hose leak as much as she could. Cory was passing by when he saw her in need of help. He immediately pulled his truck into the driveway and jumped into the rescue. While he was working, he began to fall in love. Cory was (and of course still is) the kind, genuine, loyal & handsome handyman/golfer that Heather was looking to the ends of the earth for. Heather was (and still is...you're getting the pattern) the sweet, creative, fun and caring woman who provided the peace Cory longed for. It proved itself to be a match made in heaven as from that day forward they complemented each other's lives, leading to the unity we are so joyful to experience with you.

Now, for those that know the real story, we will state it here BUT if a guest did not read this and asks at the wedding, "How did they meet?" please pull up that first paragraph and recite ;) Now the occurrence above did happen on our first week of dating, however, it is not how these two lovers came to meet. Due to the pandemic and their desire to find love, Cory and Heather met on Hinge. A "match" made in heaven still applies lol. Heather and Cory had 2 months of conversations where we started to question how someone could be so great and real? To find this out, Cory planned our first date at a Holiday event at Gulfstream Park where the night wouldn't seem to end. Great music, drinks, a carousel and conversation led us to talk for hourssss, honestly, our wedding might be shorter than our first date! We clicked immediately between feeling excited and so comfortable with each other. After such a great date, we continued to see each other in any way that we could!

Our dates began at a beautiful event and expanded to all of our memories in DIY projects, grocery shopping dates, long walks, beach visits, A weekend cruise, Disney World, movies, zoos, camping, national park visits and a lot (Heather might say it was medium level) of traveling. Through all the shared happiness, adventure, life hardships, laughs, comfort, mutual trust, and opportunities to lean on each other, there was no doubting why we were paired and worked so seamlessly together. Our shared experiences allowed us to learn and deeply love one another so profoundly.

All the love shared in dating led to Cory proposing to Heather on her 27th Birthday at Coral Cove in Jupiter. Needless to say, she did not need to make a wish as her dream came true right before her eyes (Many seconds it took for her to realize he was not displaying a shell but a rock then she became utterly emotional over the realization...we'll skip the ugly-happy crying) Our journey began in unexpected fate and continues to be our favorite choice in life, as we look forward to celebrating our marriage with all of you!
