Wedding Party

Aina Gundersen

Maid of Honor

Cory and I met our first week in the dorms- and we instantly connected, became besties, and haven’t stopped belly laughing ever since. Through college graduations, careers, raising children, new relationships, home ownership, and all the highs and lows that come from growing up- we’ve cheered each other on through the good times and helped support one another when we needed it most. We’re now more like sisters than friends, and I can’t imagine a life without her! I’m so thrilled to see her and Es find one another and am honored to have the privilege of celebrating their love as they tie the knot. It’s impossible to envision a more perfect man for Cory and father for Olive, Cam and Roe. It’s a joy to be a part of their lives and a blessing to witness their love and dedication to one another and to living life to the fullest together! 💖

Kristle Vigil

Bridesmaid

Kristle here! Estevan's older and only sister, that is! Needless to say, I have known Es his entire life. He has always been energetic, smart, daring, courageous, and adventurous! Life's adventures led him right into the heart of an incredible woman. The first time I met Cory, I couldn't get over her beauty. As I have gotten to know her better, she is so much more than skin deep! She is smart, kind, thoughtful, and has a wonderful sense of humor. And it goes without saying that she brought some beautiful little lives into this world! I am so proud to be an auntie to Olive, Cameron, and Roe. And, I couldn't be happier to finally have a sister 😁 I look forward to the years to come! ♡Cheers

Michelle Williams

Bridesmaid

I first met Cory when our parents brought us all together for a boat day at Lake of the Pines, and it was immediately clear how close and loving Lisa, Kacy, and Cory were as a family. These days, I live in Arizona with my husband, Rich, and our Frenchie, Sadie. When I'm not working as a flight attendant for Southwest, I’m usually off exploring—traveling or hiking. I especially love long-distance treks like the Tour du Mont Blanc and the O Circuit in Patagonia's Torres del Paine.

Alexandra Curtis

Bridesmaid

Cory and I met in college at UCSB, which at least I describe as some of the best years of our lives (aside from Cory blowing up as a celebrity Dietitian influencer who helps thousands of women, having her children, and marrying Es, of course ;) ) Even though Cory and I went to competing high schools with the same initials - RHS (Roseville and Rocklin High schools, having the same cheers when we played each other was very confusing by the way), the universe did not plan for us to meet until we were placed on the same floor in the freshman dorms, a few doors down from each other (where lots of boring stuff happened and they had a horrible time). Cory and I also lived together Sophomore year, and shared a room Junior year. Cory and I's bond has only continued to grow and deepen over the last 18 years, and has so far proven the test of time, distance, and lots of different versions of ourselves. I currently live in Roseville, CA, and enjoy going to see live music, eating good food, working on my painting skills, spending time with friends and animals, learning in any capacity, and just generally trying to soak up life as much as I can. I wish Cory, Es, and their growing family all the best, forever and ever! <3

Sarah Guertin

Bridesmaid

I work in the real estate industry and am also a proud mom to a spirited 2.5-year-old daughter. Back in high school, I met Cory, who just so happened to be my neighbor. We quickly became friends, pulling off all sorts of shenanigans around the neighborhood and created some of the best memories!

Dmitri Almanzar

Best Man

My name is Dmitri Almanzar, and I’m honored to stand as Estevan’s best man. I live in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, with my wonderful fiancée, Davina, and my two amazing children, Davion and Dej’Amira. Estevan and I met 20 years ago in 7th grade when he moved to our small hometown of Las Vegas, New Mexico. We clicked instantly, bonded by our love for music, sports, food, and the outdoors. From late-night jam sessions vibing to our favorite tunes, competing in wrestling meets throughout school, to adventurous mountain hikes that fueled our sense of adventure, we’ve shared countless unforgettable memories. Through middle school, high school, college, and now into our 30s, our friendship has only deepened. I’m beyond grateful to celebrate Estevan and Cory’s love story on their special day on September 13!

Kacy Ruth

Groomsman

Cory and I go way back to our diaper days growing up in Fair Oaks, Sacramento. As her only sibling and big brother, I'm honored to stand next to her wonderful fiance, Es as they exchange vows this fall. These days however I live in Nashville, TN with my wife Tammy and three crazy boys (Colin age 8, Alex age 5 and Logan almost 2yr old). I'm a practicing Anesthesiologist at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a Veteran myself in the US Navy, deploying twice overseas in support of Operation Inherant Resolve. A few fun facts about myself - I've moved over a dozen times since leaving for college, traveled to 49 US states and recently swam with Caribbean black tip reef sharks 80ft below the sea. While not quite so much of a foodie like Cory, I do love some good Nashville BBQ, along with backpacking and camping with my boys, and helping to coach their various sports teams. I can't wait to celebrate Cory and Es, woot woot!

Mike Harcharik

Officiant

I live in Santa Fe New Mexico with my beautiful wife of 20 years and our three sons, ages 4, 10, and 12. Estevan and I have been friends for nearly a decade. We met through Reineke Construction doing work in Hyde State Park, building yurts. We then both worked for the same two tree companies and have shared a love for trees and the outdoors. We quickly became like brothers, I found that we share the same heart and the hardest work ethics on every crew. Having a friend to help guide and mentor one another in the right direction during life’s ups and downs is priceless. I am thankful for our friendship and proud of the man Estevan has become.

Joe Jeczen

Groomsman

The Forest Service brought Joe out West from Michigan in 2017. In 2019 Joe accepted a position on the Klamath National Forest on the same crew as Es. They quickly became close friends. After working together through numerous seemingly endless fire seasons, they became family.

Andy Tompkins

Groomsman

My name is Andy. I am a logger, a Dad, and a husband to my lovely wife Brittany. I started working with Es in 2019 when we were both on the fire crew. We hit it off pretty quick. We both enjoy a lot of the same things in life. It seems that a lot of our shared passions revolve around two things: Family, and being/working in the woods. When Es was new to the area, he would come over to the house often for BBQ's and bonfires. We would show Joe how to properly smoke and grill meats (Joe learned a lot from us). It has truly been an honor to call Es a friend and watch him start this family that he loves so much!

Marcel Almanzar

Groomsman

My name is Marcel Almanzar, and I have been friends with Estevan for 17 years. I met him through my cousin Dmirti when they were in high school together. We became friends because we share the same passions for fishing and the outdoors. My favorite memories I share with Estevan is when him and I drive up to Gallinas to go fishing for trout. I spend most of my days working and running my irrigation business. I have a wonderful family to come home to after a long day of work. I am a father of two adventurous boys and a loving boyfriend to my girlfriend of 7 years.
