Question

Are there COVID-19 Restrictions and Safety Guidelines in place?

Answer

YES! AS OF JUNE 1, 2020: check back for updates! The venue is well prepared and keeping a close watch on the Governor's orders. -Our wedding is well under 50% capacity of the venue, and offers plenty of distancing space -Ceremony will be set up according to distancing guidelines -Reception tables will be 6' or more apart and be limited to 8 guests per table (likely by family) -Venue staff will be wearing masks -The venue has installed sanitizing stations and signage as a reminder for certain protocols -The dance floor with have a limit -Catering company will be plating food for guests -Bar will have an extra tender and guests will be asking to distance in line -Bartenders will be extra aware of intoxicated guests (intoxication make you less aware of distancing) -Cocktail hour will be freestanding with no tables -It will be the guest's choice to wear their own mask -We have the option to live stream to our guests that choose to regretfully decline due to being high risk etc.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are following a semi-formal dress code. This includes tuxedos, evening gowns, slacks shirt and ties, as well as cocktail dresses. Please refrain from wearing jeans and and T-shirt.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Seating for guests will begin promptly at 4:00pm.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "plus guest" then yes. If not, we prefer that it is just you. Plus ones must RSVP prior to the RSVP deadline

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes we LOVE all of our adorable kiddos.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Target, and we are also taking fund collections for our new kitchen. Please see our "registry" tab for further information

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. There will be a shuttle service to and from the Venue and The Mt Vernon Grand Hotel. Please view our "Travel" tab for further information.

Is there an open or cash bar at the reception and/or cocktail hour?

Answer

There will be a provided open bar for the ceremony and reception. Please remember to bring cash to tip our lovely bartenders!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please notify us ahead if you are not able to eat certain foods so that we can be sure that you have something to eat during the reception.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available on site. Please follow signs and/or traffic directors. There will be a golf shuttle available to transport guests from the parking area to the ceremony site.

Is this venue handicapped accessible?

Answer

Yes! There will be a golf cart present to help transport guests to the ceremony location as well as from the ceremony to the reception location,

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Please check back frequently. This is what we know as of now: -If you plan to get to the venue or hotel by traveling through Johnstown, OH. Route 62/Coshocton Ave will be fully closed in town (East of route 37). We suggest to use Jersey/Mink or 310 for alternative routes.
