What should I wear?

We request formal attire. Please note that the ceremony and reception will be mainly outdoors. Excited for our favorite people to get dressed up with us!

Are my children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we are planning an adult-only celebration. Children are welcome only if named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are the Ceremony and Reception at the same place?

Answer

No! The ceremony will be held at Virginia House, on the West End of Richmond. There will be a large parking lot, and we recommend carpooling if able. Our reception will be held about 15 minutes away, in downtown Richmond, at Havana 59 (a local restaurant). There will be metered parking, street parking, and likely a designated lot for additional parking by the train station. Check back for more details close to August!

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are requesting that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the wedding ceremony. We ask that you fully experience the moment with us and allow our professional photographer to capture the best images without distraction. We promise there will be plenty of opportunities after the ceremony to take photos!

Will the Ceremony & Reception be outside?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be outside. The reception will be on a covered 2nd story patio.

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, if you wish to honor us with a gift, we’ve created a registry to help us start our new chapter.
