We're married and ready to celebrate!

Welcome to our wedding website! We have created this website to help with all of the need to know details in the lead up to our I Dos Part 2! Here on our website you’ll find pictures from our ceremony in 2021 as well as party plans for June 11, 2022. We also have our wedding party introductions and a page where we tried to anticipate any questions you may have! Invitations with RSVP instructions will be sent out at a later date. Chad and Katelyn met at a Pure Barre class planned for the clients and teachers to bring their Men to the Barre. Katelyn's friend Melissa was bringing along her boyfriend (now husband) Peter and Peter's friend Chad was brought (dragged) along since he was Atlanta visiting. Melissa gave neither of them a heads up that they were being set up, but after an hour of non-stop laughter, Chad got Katelyn's phone number and the rest is history!

When Chad’s original proposal plans looked like they would have to be deferred due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he quickly pivoted to find a way to surprise Katelyn. Chad is an avid golfer and one of their favorite things is to spend time together on the golf course. On a beautiful Saturday they were out golfing with two friends, Zack and Avery, and Chad lined up behind Katelyn to watch her swing on the fairway of the 18th hole. When Katelyn turned around, Chad was down on one knee and she couldn’t get her golf glove off fast enough to put the ring on! Katelyn was completely shocked and Chad still isn’t sure if she actually said yes or not, but she couldn’t be more thrilled to be marrying him!

Katelyn and Chad were married June 12 with their wedding party and immediate families present. The ceremony was held in Decatur, right around the corner from where they met! Despite the rain through the ceremony, they had the most perfect day and cannot wait to celebrate with everyone in 2022!
