Justin and his roommates were throwing a big Halloween bash at their house in LA. This was the scene of a set up by our good friend, Emily, who thought we'd hit it off. Amy (dressed as Wednesday Addams) was still an LA newbie and excited to meet some new people. Justin (dressed as Jackie Moon from the movie Semi Pro) confidently introduced himself in his 70s basketball uniform and voluminous curly wig. After some instantly sassy banter, and some discussion on how handsome Justin's dog Booker is, the spark was lit and they became inseparable.

Taking advantage of the borders opening up in Europe, Justin and Amy took a road trip to Garmisch, Germany with their good friends Sam and Adam. They enjoyed a week of hiking and beautiful mountain scenery. On one particularly sunny day, they all went to the beautiful Lake Eibsee for a scenic hike and paddle boat ride. During the hike, Justin kept trying to get Amy to stop at some picture-perfect spots (and propose!) but Amy wasn't interested and just wanted to finish the hike so they could get to boating. Finally, they got on the boat and thanks to Sam and Adam taking the first shift of paddling, Justin and Amy laid out in the back to soak up some sun and incredible views. Amy was then surprised by a tap on her leg and Justin on one knee in front of her, saying the most loving words and asking her to marry him! Luckily their friends were able to capture the whole thing on camera and, most importantly, sneak some champagne on the boat to celebrate!
