Maid of Honor
Karaoke God. Kyle Gass Project enthusiast. Literal Doctor. My angel and soulmate! I could not be more excited to have Tabs as my Maid of Honor. Her confidence, sass, and humor are three of the qualities that make her one of my favorite people. Tabs has a way of making even the simplest things in life some of the most fun memories. I cannot tell you how many times we have just sat on a porch and it end up being one of the most hilarious nights I've had. We say it as a joke, but we actually can "communicate with simply a look", and have our own little language of (primarily Jack Black) quotes that never gets old. From elementary school to wedding day, she has been by my side through it all! My best gal through and through.
Best Man
I met Marc at Bayshore elementary school in the 3rd grade and we have been best friends ever since. Whether it was Marc coming over as a kid trying bagel bites for the first time or flying to New Orleans for a weekend trip during Halloween, we have done it all together. For those of you who don’t know Marc, you will; because he will make a point to meet you and then probably drop that he is a critical care nurse - it’s just his thing. When thinking about all of my favorite memories or lowest points, Marc was always there experiencing it with me. I’m sure everyone else in this groom’s party can agree that Marc is the guy who will always answer your call and be the one you can rely on. So it’s a no-brainer to have him up there with me as take this next step.
Bridesmaid
Animal Whisperer. Green Thumb Hero. Professional Artist. Where do I even begin with this absolute icon. Starting with the most cliché - she is the sister I wished I had growing up. She is just as smart, funny, creative, and kind as she is beautiful, and the Corn's don't go a single day without knowing how blessed we are to have her in our lives. Alyssa is a freaking Chef, an amazing painter, and her interior design skills are giving Joanna Gaines. She manages to inspire me every single time we see each other, so it was without question that I needed her by my side for our big day!
Groomsman
My favorite brother. Shane has always been there for me when I needed him and even when I didn’t. From buying me every new Xbox as they were released, buying me alcohol (when I was 21+ of course), and always being welcoming to all of my friends. If you asked every other groomsmen, they would say Shane was like an older brother to them too - especially Brandon. Whether it was being a football coach or now even a father of his two incredible daughters, Shane has always put others before himself. How could I not want him up there with me?
Bridesmaid
My First Friend. Benji Madden’s first wife. Has a lifetime of knowledge. I met Breezy in Mrs. Clark’s kindergarten class when I was 5 years old. She was one of my first friends, ever. Trying to guess what in the world our first conversations were is a go to subject for us. The first piece of evidence that we were friends is 1) a picture of us building blocks together (how wholesome is THAT) and then 2) a picture of her face inside the center of a paper candle when I picked her to be one of my “birthday candles”, a class tradition. Breezy has quite literally seen me through every phase of my life, and I couldn’t be more grateful for this friendship. In over 25 years, we still never miss a single day of texting each other. There is no one else that I’d want to yell-sing 3oh!3 at the reception with.
Groomsman
The most responsible of the bunch. Connor and I first became friends in middle school when we were on the same trauma-filled pop warner football team. I’m sure if you asked us then if we wanted to ever play football again - it would have been an easy no. But as life would have it, we ended up playing together again in high school and becoming even closer friends. Fast forward to college - he invited me up to Orlando to be his wingman at a party being thrown be a girl he was interested in, his now wife and mother of his child Claudia! Thankfully, I was able to stand up there for him on his big day; now I get to ask him to do the same for me.
Bridesmaid
Birthday Twin. Cat Mother. Will save the world. What’s cooler than meeting someone who not only shares a birthday with you, but was also born at the same exact hospital?! The answer is nothing. You can imagine my head explosion that happened when elementary school aged Hannah and I discovered this about each other. Hannah inspires me in so many ways through her consistent activism, fierce creativity and self expression, and a sense of humor that will make me lose my breath laughing. I will forever be grateful for the countless memories we’ve made growing up together, but especially for our undeniable “May-thirdness” that solidifies that we just ‘get’ each other.
Groomsman
What can I say other than he is an enigma. “The man of many miles” has lived in more places than I can count, but has always showed up to birthdays, weddings, and of course a bar crawl. I met Juan when we were both volunteering at our local orphanage, where I found out that he has a passion for giving and loves helping people in need. Ok not really, we met at Publix, our first job, and became close friends. But if any single ladies read that bit about the orphanage, then it’s totally real and Juan is looking for a wife. I couldn’t be up there without you.
Bridesmaid
Underground Comedian. Woman in STEM. Cinderella. Aidan is one of the funniest people you will ever meet and that is a FACT. Her quick wit is just one of the million qualities that make her one of my favorite people ever. Everyone knows I love Universal for many reasons, but surely one of the biggest is that it brought me to Aidan. She is the supportive, smart, kind friend that everyone deserves to have. I will never forget our many chaotic game nights, bookclub meetings, vent sessions, & many, many park walks. Aidan made Orlando feel like home. Could not imagine celebrating our big day without my favorite gal!
Groomsman
The term “brother from another mother” is basically a reality for us. As we literally share siblings with each other but not actually being related has always caused confusion. But regardless of the titles, Brandon has been one of my closest friends for as long as I can remember. Whether it was playing football together, staying up far too late playing video games, or having some house parties that were definitely interrupted by his dad, we have always been there for each other. (Brian we were definitely playing Gatorade beer pong and not drinking beer) I’m appreciative of our friendship over the years and now let’s add another milestone to our story.
Heels & Feels Coordinator / Flower Man
King of Sass. Pastry extraordinaire. Hair is full of secrets. Alex and I go back to the good ol’ stomping grounds of SFMHS where we met freshman year. Get him on a roll and he’ll tell you all about the times he’d pick me up and we’d go for random drives, all the house parties, and the many nights watching -and quoting- Mean Girls or Bridesmaids. Alex is one of the most caring, thoughtful, and smiley people you will meet. You will know when he enters a room because you’ll likely hear “Jambo!”. He’s taking our big day as seriously as his own and that might be the most on-brand Alex thing ever. Happy to have the Gretchen to my Regina there for the ride!
